Heartbroken // Kidnapped by Calum Hood

Prologue

Calum's pov;

I looked over at her, her smile widening and I laughed in response, losing my balance and falling off the unreliable bar stool that clattered to the floor. Violet spat out her drink she just took a sip of and burst out laughing.

"Oh my god, are you alright?" She giggled offering a hand up.

"I'm fine" I smiled, taking my hand and brushing myself off, clutching my tailbone.

"Let's get out of here, go home yeah?" I asked.

"Yeah."

Violet and I walked out of the bar and I led her down the shortcut to my house.
The alleyway was gloomy and she walked in front of me as I admired her from behind. I'm so luck-

My thoughts were cut off when someone grabbed me, their hand covering my mouth before I was pinned against the wall. A man stood in front of me, his features hiding in the shadows.

He held a gun discreetly to my chest;

"Break up with her if you want to live. tell her you were cheating, I don't care. go!" He pushed me away.

I saw violet at the end of the alleyway, looking around for me. As I approached, millions of thoughts ran through my head.

How could I do this.

"Violet.. I- I came here to tell you.." I started, my heart shattering into little pieces.

Her concerned expression said it all.

"I- I've been cheating on you with... with Aleisha. I'm so sorry but.. I'm breaking up with you."

Tears welled in her eyes and I blinked back mine. I walked away from her, wanting to turn back and tell her that i was being blackmailed but I knew I couldn't. I slipped back into the slim pathway connecting to the main one and nodded.

He grinned evilly, his eyes flashing red and the last thing I remember was a sharp throbbing pain in my neck before losing consciousness.
