"Where are you? I thought we were making a deal." I heard Calum speak.

"Funny thing is, I lied and i'm at your house," he chuckled, "Oh and you might want to get here soon, your mate can feel much more pain than you can when you're away from her too long."

The line went dead and in a while I opened my eyes to Calum standing in the doorway. Luke quickly followed and Ashton stood next to me and I tried to warn Calum before anything happened but it was too late.

Calum sped over to me, stopping only about a metre away from me. Ashton had held up his hand and he froze, Calum instantly protesting.

"Listen, she's going to die if I don't come in contact with her! Just...let me hold her, please." he whispered the last part.

Ashton smirked and turned to me.

"Beg for it," I hesitated for a moment.

"Please. Please, I don't want to die."

"Oh come on, that's pathetic, I said beg for it!" he boomed, releasing me from the compulsion.

He sped over to Calum, a black haze clouding around his hand and he hovered it near Calum's chest.

Calum squeezed his eyes shut, whatever he was doing was bad.

I held a hand out towards him, hoping he's cease to do what he was doing and started following instructions.

"Please, don't hurt him! You can't, he's my mate!"

He laughed.

"Try harder Violet! I'm going to rip his heart out!" he lectured me like it was obvious.

I got on my knees, I couldn't let him die.

"Ashton, please! Don't kill him!" my voice cracked in the end and a tear ran down my cheek.

"That's better." he cocked his head to the side.

He dropped his hand, clicking his fingers and setting Calum free.

"Let's turn this into a game shall we?
You have twenty-four hours to try and hide, if i find you," He leaned into Calum's ear.

"You better hope your girl is immortal."
He threatened and gestured for his men to follow him as he zoomed out of the building.

"We have to get as far away from him as we can!" said Calum.

He went over to untie Michael and grabbed the ropes, hissing moments after.

"Violet, would you do the honours?" he stared down at his hand.

I went over and freed Michael, standing up and waiting for further instructions.

Calum hadn't touched me yet and i winced in pain, trying to ignore it. He noticed and sped over to me, wrapping his arms around me, my face buried in his chest.

"We have to go, get out of this town and never look back." Luke suggested.

"Let's get to it." Michael replied.

The boys started packing up their things and I relaxed as i didn't have anything to gather up. We loaded the car, heading off.
