Footsteps and a light flicking on is what woke me up but I kept my eyes shut, hoping to fool him into thinking I was still asleep.

"Violet, it's time to wake up beautiful" he insisted.

a sigh escaped his mouth and he continued on,

"I can hear your heart-rate pick up, I'm not dumb Vi"

I refused to give in. A hand rested on my stomach and I snapped my eyes open, going to shuffle away but failing as I was bound to the bed I was laying on.

I squirmed, the cold handcuffs around my wrists digging in and the tape on my ankles tugging at my skin.
(a.n// ooh wtf that rhymes)

"Shhhh, relax" he cooed, removing his hand.

"Remember me?" he asked and only then had I taken the initiative to get a good look at my kidnapper.

"C-" A croak came out from my mouth.

I cleared my throat, trying again,

"Calum." I hissed.

"Miss me?"

I debated saying yes and giving in the the side that wanted to hug him and take him back or saying no and hating him for what he was, a cheater.

I became indecisive and didn't say anything at all.

He inched closer and I flinched slightly as he took my ankles into his freezing hands, releasing them from the tape.
I sat up a bit, glaring at him as much as I could without bursting into tears.

"Welcome to your new home." He cheered.

"I'm not staying with you, you're a monster!" I spat.

Instead of looking cross he raised his eyebrows and took in the insult as if it were a compliment.

"You could say that," He shrugged.

"But what type of monster are you referring to?"

"You're a cold hearted cheater!" I cried.

"First of all, I never actually cheated on you and secondly, I'm more than that, don't you remember anything from last night?" He smirked.

I stayed quiet, the silence answering his question.

"Well then, let me give you a friendly reminder."

His eyelids covered his eyes and when they opened again, they we're red.
Not the irritated looking bloodshot but his pupils had transformed from brown to a deep red colour.

I backed up as far as I could toward the bed frame, my hands still constricted by the handcuffs.

"Does it scare you?" He smirked.

"N-no" I lied.

He came closer so his breath fanned my face as I squeezed my eyes tightly.

When I opened them he was right in front of me, this time joined by fangs popping out of his gums.

"Boo" He whispered.

I screamed and he covered my mouth.

"Shhh, don't want anyone hearing you now do we?" He hushed me.

"Let's go introduce you to the others?" He said more like a question.

He un-cuffed me but I gripped onto the bed frame, shaking my head.

"Violet, let go."

I shook my head more, tightening my grip.
