Soooo sorry for the long wait but here it is the tenth chapter of I'm a serious romantic but I'm a dude. The next few chapters will have a mixture of Point of Views from all the characters except a few, since that would ruin a some things, and we don't want that. Now do we?

Chapter 10: On the hunt for you

~Landon’s POV~

“Ok, thanks” I said hanging up my phone.

“What’s next” Delilah said. We were at my house sitting on my bedroom floor planning the events that were going to take place this week.

I pulled out our checklist and crossed out the store I just called. I looked below the words to find nothing there.

“We’re finished” I said mostly to myself. I was astonished that we finally finished getting everything ready after making many calls and spending a good portion of the money I saved up for my a new guitar on this.

“We’re finished?” she asked. I nodded as I put the envelopes in there correct container.

“Good, cause the floor was giving me a mean wedgie” she said getting up off the floor.

I laughed at her subtle way of pulling out her wedgie.

“It’s not funny I probably won’t be able to seat properly anymore unless someone helps me pull this darn thing out.” She said.

“I bet you that boy that you are so smitten with could help you with that if that means getting to touch you in that area” I teased.

“Oh whatever” she said rolling her eyes. “Well I must be going before Deri starts freaking out that I'm not at home while grandma is away.”

“So yall are back on talking terms?” I asked since she told me that her sister started giving her the silent treatment ever since last week when she saw me kiss Delilah’s cheek. Deri doesn’t believe Delilah still about not dating me but I guess it has something to do with Delilah not telling her who her secret boyfriend is, she won’t even tell me who it is no matter how much I question her about it. I even asked her why she is keeping it a secret from everyone she just shrugged her shoulders and said ‘because I can.’ I left her alone after that knowing I wasn’t going to get any answers from her.

“Yeah, but she won’t tell me why I was getting the silent treatment in the first place, I mean I don’t even like you like that no offense but you’re not my type. I really miss her and our sister relationship, Landon” She said sadly.

“Well I know yall are going to be ok.” I said giving her a hug.

“Thanks Landon”

“You’re welcome Delilah.”

“I hope your plan works because my sister really needs this she has been through a lot, hell so have I but she needs this the most.” She said walking out the front door heading towards her house before I could ask her what she was talking about.

I hope it works too.

~Next Day - Monday~

I arrived at school early so I could get everything set up. I was so nervous my hands started to sweat.

“Chill bro, everything is going to be just fine” Andrew said patting my back reassuringly

“It’s just that I think I might be-”

“She's here” someone yelled.
