Chapter 16

Hey! Writing after a year

"Taylor" I couldn't think of anything else to say.
"You fucking bastard, what do you want form her now? Haven't you had enough already, how many more girls before your score hits a century? Eh?" Taylor screamed at the top of her voice looking harry straight in the eye .

I have never seen taylor this angry, she was always so calm and chirpy. Seeing her all boiled up and fuming was new to me but harry didn't flinch he just stood up from the sofa and started walking towards her.
I could feel the tension in the atmosphere, it was like my father just walked on me while I was hooking up with his enemy's son. I was feeling guilty I don't know why, taylor was my best friend and harry and her were not even acquainted but then why would taylor direct all those accusations on him if she never knew him? It was all so complicated, I was just waiting for harry to reply when he finally said something.

" Taylor, watch your mouth" he looked at her with a disgusted expression and continued now standing right in front of her " You need to learn some manners, when will you stop barging into other people's houses? Did mumma swift abandon you again already?" He said it with a cunning smirk, not that I could see his face but I could tell by the sound of his voice.
"Fuck you harry, Thank god I barged in at the right time or you would have pulled your shit on Sel too and make her one of your arm candies isn't it? And then just leave her suddenly one day when you find a prettier arm candy" taylor said it all looking straight in his eyes but I could feel that she was hurt.

What the hell was going on, was harry just acting all good to get me to like him so that he could break my heart later? Did he think that if I could kiss zayn I was easy and he could 'score' on me. I swear I felt like kicking him but I didn't want to act till their dialogue was complete.

" huh! Selena isn't like you, she is not a lousy ass bitch who just wants to get popular and wants people to give her all their attention. And FYI I wasn't messing around with her things got a bit far but we were just talking NORMALLY " he explained as a matter of factly.

" oh now I am the lousy ass bitch? I want all the attention? I am not the one who goes around the entire high school picking up girls in bets and then throwing them after using them" taylor trashed out at him and then suddenly out of nowhere she slapped him.

I was taken aback and so was harry, I couldn't bring myself to say anything but I knew I had to intervene else things would get worse.

" Taylor what the hell are you doing, you can't slap him" this wasn't what I intended on speaking, I didn't want to side with harry but it came out of my mouth involuntarily.
Harry stepped back calming himself down and breathed out heavily. Taylor felt betrayed she had it written all over her face .

" Sel, seriously you don't even know what this guy did to me , to ashley, to brenda and many more of them. But you know what go ahead choose him and when he fucks you over don't cone crying to me . Fuck you both!" Taylor slammed the door shut behind her and I heard her car rev and she drove off .

I didn't choose harry over her, I just didn't support her hitting him. I couldn't even stop her she ran out so fast, I turned to harry he was all red with anger. He would kill someone in a heartbeat right now if he could.

"You should leave harry, Im sorry for whatever happened I don't know what history you have with taylor but after whatever she said I don't think I would want to see you ever again. Thanks for bringing me home by the way. Shut the door behind you" I know I was being mean, but at the moment I myself was an emotional wreck I wasn't in a mood to comfort someone else.
Harry looked at me with a blank face " can you give me a ride? My car is parked at the park and I don't feel like walking all my way upto there"
"Huh! Okay" I had to drive him to the park because he brought me home I had to return the favour .
During the entire ride we didn't say anything at all, we just sat in the car quietly.
"Im not what she says I am" harry said before getting out of the car.
"I don't know harry but thanks for today, we are even now you dropped me home and I drove you back to your car . Bye" I wanted him to get that straight, I didn't owe him anything now.

While my way back home I thought about taylor , what was wrong with her she acts so immature sometimes, no one in their right mind would slap someone out of nowhere and that too at somebody else's house. She is weird sometimes, she overreacts a lot but come to think of it she overreacts only on matters related to Harry. What happened between them, from all the arguments one thing is for sure, that they dated each other and harry dumped her for Ashley but why would he do that. God I needed answers but Taylor would not see me today at any cost so I thought of calling up Eleanor.

"Hey! You free? Need to talk about something "
"Hey ssup! I was just hanging out with Louis, where's Taylor she went to your place she said she wanted to apologise for her behaviour earlier today"
"Ya about that, when taylor came over I was with harry and then .."
"Harry? HARRY STYLES? What were you doing with him ? Why was he at your place and taylor saw you with him ?She must be pissed oh god il call you later I have to go see taylor"

Eleanor just slammed the phone after saying her bit, how rude can she be ? What was wrong with her, I know she and taylor were best friends but I called her first I needed some answers and all she did was cut the phone and run off to Taylor. I am so done with this city already people here are so messed up. Zayn harry taylor Eleanor each one of them is such a mess. I just wanted to get back home now and have a hot chocolate and sit with mom for a bit. Mom .....
Where did she go ? Why was she in a hurry, she should be back by now . We'll see when I reach home.
