Chapter 11 (part 1)

" Good morning !"

An enthusiastic voice tickled my ears to which I shrugged ....

"Hallo , Sel you lazy girl get up !"

I was forced to open my eyes when a beam of sunlight was directed towards my eyes drawing the curtains open .

"Ummm... " I looked up to find the source of that voice when I was taken aback because someone whom I had not expected was standing right there.....

"Taylor ? " my eyebrows knitted themselves together " what are you doing here ?"

"This is what you have to say on meeting me after a day " she said disappointed

I got up and hugged her as tightly as I could .. I was feeling kinda lucky to have got such a great friend and that too in a completely foreign land , she was indeed the sweetest and the most caring friend I've ever had or will ever have . I knew why she was here and that made me feel happy knowing someone cares for me .

" you are here after reading that tweet of mine " I said still hugging her

"Look Sel I don't know what's up with you but what I know is that you are one of the strongest girls I've met and I know that you would handle this " she said in a motherly tone

I love her soo much I really do ....no one would have bothered to get out of their bed this early and come to a persons place whom they met just a week ago after reading their tweet about how messy their life was ....

When we parted we exchanged smiles and then after getting ready left for school ... We were walking down the street when I noticed that there was something wrong with Taylor maybe Because of the expression she wore

"What's the matter with you ?" I asked and stood on the very spot

"Um..you know perrie and zayn broke up yesterday ...."

"I know " I said almost abruptly cutting her off ..

"How do you know ?" Taylor asked curiously

"Zayn dropped by yesterday , he was sad "

" I don't know what on earth is wrong with perrie these days , she broke up with zayn without even telling me and the reason for this stupid behaviour is that Niall proposed her and then suddenly she realized that zayn was never her guy never the one you know " Taylor had a weird sought of expression mixed with hatred care and anger ....

"Niall Horan ? The guitarist and vocalist in the school band ?" My eyes were wide open

" hmm I know he's cute but how can she just say that zayn was never the guy for her just because a popular guy proposed her suddenly one day out of nowhere "

"I'm sorry to say Taylor but to me these type of girls are bitches no more no less " I could not control my anger ... Obviously I have always had a soft corner for zayn and if anyone would do this to him that person would be at the top of my hate list ...

"Sel ! " Taylor said in a raised tone

" I'm sorry but I cannot ..."

I was interrupted by sudden honking we did not realise that we were standing in the middle of the road .... None of us said another word for the rest of the way

After reaching school I hugged Taylor telling her that everything was still normal even if we were on opposite sides and then left for my history class .

In the corridor my eyes suddenly caught a duo chatting .... I never knew zayn and my hate at first sight were friends I mean it can get any worse ....

Zayn suddenly after taking notice of me waved . The other guy turned around and I could not think of anything other than walking towards the duo ...

"Hey " I said as confidently as possible

"Harry this is Selena a very close friend , yesterday she was with me all the time helping me feel better " zayn was introducing us completely unaware of our past so called interactions ... But I got to know his name HARRY ...

"I know her the new girl huh ! " Harry said almost checking me out

"Ya and you the rudest guy in school " I said giving him a shrewd look

" ah well you guys are sort of acquainted " zayn broke in

"I have my history class catch you guys later " I declared

" no need not interested in seeing you again" Harry smirked

" Harry ! ....Selena let's go or else we'll get late " Zayn held my hand and pulled me ...

Had he not done that I bet either me or Harry would have had a swollen eye

Suddenly he stopped leading to me banging against him as I was walking just behind him . Then I found the reason for this very behaviour perrie and Niall were standing right in front of us holding hands . I too held zayn's hand as tightly as I could giving him all the strength and then we started walking towards our classroom ...

"Thanks that was much needed " zayn whispered ...

Just then I left his hand realising that we were in the classroom

"Sel you are the sweetest friend One can ever have , I mean after what I did yesterday I was not hoping that you would even look at me " zayn had tears in his eyes when we were sitting in the cafe during recess

I almost forgot about that kiss, what was on my mind all this while was the unjust deed that perrie did to zayn , but now I thought that It would be better if I forget about it as zayn needs me right now and that is more important than any stupid kiss ....

I then gave him a smile wiping off his tears.
