The Legend Of The Dragon Sword (GaLe/Gajevy)

Chapter 6

The journey to Clover was merely a few hours on a train, and it was nothing eventful. Gajeel got motion sickness as usual, and Levy stared out of the window the entire time, something in her feeling uneasy about seeing the town where her former guild, Destiny Mage, had been destroyed.

She was going to kill whoever had killed them, and she didn't care what it took to do that. Give up her magic, die in the process, she really didn't care; that person would pay. No matter who it was. No matter how old they were.

The ground her teeth, clutching the hilt of her sword tighter as the abandoned district of Clover Town appeared. They walked through the door and she checked her time lacrima. It was a minute until noon, and she doubted her foe would show themself before then. The clock stricked noon and footsteps were heard emerging from a house nearby.

The two turned around and saw a silouhette, probably a woman, orned in a black cloak with the Devil's Eye guild crest on it. "Who are you?!" Levy shouted and the person laughed. Gajeel tensed hearing that laugh and the hood was brought down, revealing golden hair and eyes.

"I should've known......" Levy said in disgust. "Ah, Levy, dear. I see you brought Gajeel with you. A good choice indeed, strong and reliable, well, most of the time, but didn't I say to come alone?" The sickly sweet voice said and Levy growled. "No, you didn't. And he came without my permission, but it isn't really my business what he does." Levy replied sharply and the woman laughed. "Levy, Levy. Are you sure you want to know who killed your beloved guild?" She asked and Levy nodded. Kim smirked and laughed maniacally. "It was none other than...... me." She said, her eyes glinting.

Levy's eyes widened, her jaw slacking. Her hand dropped from the hilt of her sword, shock envelopping her entire being. What reason did Kim have to destroy Destiny Mage? It was true that Kim didn't like Levy at all and probably blamed for Gajeel leaving her, but......

Destiny Mage was destroyed, because of me.

While Levy was in her state of weakness, Kim decided to attack, knowing that she had the upper hand at that moment. But she had forgotten one important thing; Gajeel. Blocking her attack with his own, she jumped back, her eyes looking over him in amusement.

"Gajeel, I've missed you so much. She doesn't deserve you, so..... please come with me. I don't want to hurt you." She said, her features replaced with a soft and kins smile. "As much as I would have loved that....." Levy's bangs cast a shadow on her eyes. She knew he didn't like her, that he still loved Kim, that he still wanted to be with her. Levy was just holding him back. He'd leave her once again, and she'd be alone again. She knew she should have been nicer to him. She knew it wasn't his fault for Destiny Mage's destruction, she knew that she still loved him despite everything, and thus wanted to overshadow those feelings with hatred. But her plan backfired; it only hurt more to see him go than it did before because she hadn't been able to be close to him but this time it was her own fault. "...... but that was when I still loved you, when I still played your game. Now, you are my enemy, and I will not allow you to hurt Levy again!" He said and her eyes widened. He called her Levy, not Shrimp. He was serious.

Kim frowned. "Gajeel, no matter what it looks like, I still love you, I always have. You don't have to wait for me to say that I love you like you do for her! I return you feelings!" She exclaimed. She was persistent, she clearly wanted Gajeel by her side. "Stop assuming that I love you! You are trying to hurt the one that I love now, that I've always loved! I don't deserve to be loved by her 'cause of all the awful things I've done to her, but then she left before I could say anything, I beat myself up about the past more than I ever had before! She was gone, and you were there. You could say that in a way I was lying to myself about loving you, 'cause my feelings were always with Levy!" Kim's eyes widened, and everything seemed to go in slow motion for her, rage conssuming her.

She dissapeared, but then appeared behind Levy, only one eye showing from the mess of golden hair on her head, and it was glowing a venemous gold and red. She kicked Levy in the back, and the girl's eyes widened a fraction. Her body was unable to react fast enough, so she crashed into an abandoned building. "I will give you a very slow and painful death, girl! Then I'll torture youre soul for the rest of eternity!" The golden haired woman screeched, sending another kick in Levy's direction, only this time it was blocked.

Kim's foot collided with the flat side of Levy's sword, sending both skidding back. Levy held her sword in front of her, and Kim readied her magic. "You will regret the day Gajeel fell in love with you!" She screamed, creating a golden sword of her own. Levy put up a transparent shield around them so that Gajeel wouldn't interfere.

Kim charged and Levy pushed her aside, managing to scratch her oponent's shoulder. Kim's eyes were angry, her movements sloppy. Rage had consumed her being, her mind clouded over in anguish. Anguish she wanted Levy to feel for the rest of eternity. And so Kim used the ultimate Taboo of her magic.

A/N: I am so sorry for the super long wait! I just don't feel like my writing is 100% if I rush too much, but from now on I'll start revising once I'm done writing each story I complete, so they make sense, hopefully. Anyways, CLIFFHANGER!!!!! Ohohohoho. Do you know what Kim's Taboo is? Probably not because I don't even know yet but I'll come up with something! I'll try to update quicker, and now I am starting to get into this story so there'll be more frequent updates. I only have four ongoing stories on Wattpad now, so I really cut down from ten! But I still have a lot of story plans that are going to be really awesome, but anyways, it'd be a great support if you read my other works or at least gave them a try, and if you follow me and support a few of my stories and comment and stuff I might follow you and put your username in my description each time I gain ten followers!
