Accidental Love (Short Story)

One

Beyoncé:

As I entered Starbucks the sweet aroma of vanilla and cinnamon filled my nose. I noticed the line wasn't as long as usual so I walked to stand behind this woman and her baby boy who kept looking at me. I felt very uncomfortable, I hate when people stare but this baby didn't know any better so I didn't say anything.

Once I got my coffee and cake I decided to sit down and eat since I didn't have to be to work for another hour. I broke a piece of my cake and put it in my mouth, I took out my phone out of my purse and turned it on. I was about to make a phone call when someone interrupted me, I looked up from my phone and saw a man standing in front of me.

"Yes, how can I help you" I asked politely

"Um would you mind if I sat here, all the other seats are taken" He said looking around

"Oh um it's fine with me" I said moving my purse

"Thank you Miss" He said as he sat down

"Beyoncé, my name is Beyoncé" I said extending my hand

"Nice to meet you Beyoncé , I'm Shawn" He said taking my hand in his

I smiled at him and he smiled back, we actually ended up talking until we had to part ways but not before we exchanged numbers. Normally, I would never give a guy I just met 10 minutes ago my number but he was to fine not to. I parked my car, gathered my things and practically ran to the elevator in heels and almost bust my ass. My heart almost jumped out of my chest as I made it on the elevator just in time.

"Somebody's late" My best friend Kelly said as she saw me step off the elevator

"Shut up I know that" I said as I walked past her to my office

"For the first time in history Beyoncé Knowles is late" Kelly said laughing

" You are not gonna let this go are you" I said sipping on my coffee

"Nope, but I do wanna know what happened" She said sitting across from me

"What happened with what" I asked curiously

"Why you're late B" Kelly said slapping her thigh

"Oh um the coffee shop was packed and they uh didn't really have anyone working today"

"That sounds like a bunch of bull Beyoncé and you know it, now the real reason please" Kelly said crossing her legs

"Ugh fine, the coffee shop was full and this man asked if he could sit next to me and I said yes and we ended up talking and..."

"And what, spit it out" Kelly said shaking her leg

"I we kinda got each others number"

"Oooo, BB got a booboo" Kelly said jumping up hugging me

"No I don't we just met each other" I said sitting down

"And" Kelly said walking to the door

"Goodbye Kelly" I said throwing my hand up
