"Surprise!"

I woke up to a cold bed. Where did Connor go? My being in heat thing was only going to last for about 2 days. So that means its suppose to end sometime today! Yay!! I stumbled down the stairs. To see Rose and Connor whispering about something. What are they up to? My wolf was going crazy at the sight if Connor. I ran up to him hugging him.

"Where did you go?" I asked against his chest. Yep still in heat.

"I had to go out for something baby." He said stroking my hair.

"Hey Skylar you want to go to mall with Jasmine and I!" She said in an high pitch voice.

"Hell no!" I said still holding on to Connor. I was not going to the mall not again. I don't want to leave Connor!

"How about you 3 go for a run?" Connor ask hugging me from the behind resting his head on top of mine. I want to go for a run since Connor never let's me out of the house because I'm in heat.

Rose looked like she wanted to say something else but she nodded her head. I squealed

"But I don't want to leave you!" I whined.

"I will be right here when you get back my love." He said kissing my nose.

"Get a room!" Rose said. I try but Connor pushes me away!

After our 1 hour run we went back to the house. I didn't want to go back which was unusual because I always wanted to see Connor. So that means no more being in heat! Yay! Happy happy joy joy!!

Rose told me to stay outside. Why? Who knows with her. I am going to ring her neck for making stand out in the cold. Ugh! I looked off to the distance into the woods. I saw a shadowy figure standing behind a tree. It c-cant be! What d-day was it? I shook my head. No it can't. I opened the door and flicked on the lights.

"Surprise!" Connor, Rose, and Jasmine shouted. I-It's my birthday! My stomach dropped their was a reason why I don't celebrate my birthday! I can't tell them! I won't! Connor has to much on his plate right now with the rapist, the war, and training. I put on a fake smile.

"Guys you didn't have to do this!" Really they didn't have to celebrate my birthday today is not a day to celebrate.

"We had to since you never had a birthday!" Rose said hugging me shoving a present in my hands. Wait! Just maybe I-I could convince him and get his help! My smile turn into a real one. Proud of myself for thinking that.

I sat down on the couch ripping open the present. An iPhone 5 box laid in my hands. I raised an eyebrow.

"A phone?" I was happy that I have one but who am I going to call?

"Yes silly you need one!" She said pulling me into another hug!

"My turn! Connor chop chop!" Jasmine said.

"Jazz please don't make me do this!" He begged I started to laugh

"Nope! Skylar you will love my present more than Rose's silly phone! Now Connor hop to it!" Connor sighed pulling off his shirt. I started to laugh more.

"For the finishing touch!" She slapped a red bow on his head. I doubled over laughing tears streamed down my face.

I looked at Connor he was as red as the bow.

"Connor is your present smart thinking right!"

He came up to me wrapping his arms around me. Bringing his mouth to my ear.

"Hope you like my present." He said wrapping a silver necklace with a diamond heart on it around my neck. I picked up the heart looking at it on the back it said.
