V) The Letter

Hey I'm going to try update everyday but school so I might not be able to I will still try

Time skip 5 weeks
Abby (pov)
So the last few weeks Max has been thinking of putting me back in school but he said first he had a surprise for me and today was the day I'm going to find out.
2 weeks earlier
I walk in to the kitchen and see Max standing with a envelope that says my name in big letters that wasn't his writing, he walks up to me and hands me it, I look at it seeing if there is anyway I can figure out who wrote it I mean I recognize the handwriting but I can't figure it out so I open it a picture falls out (the one above) and there is also a letter so I take it out and it read
To Abby/blonde/vampire/child
I miss you so much when I saw the news about your family being in a crash they said everyone was gone I was looking through YouTube and found a video from someone I don't really know but the thing that caught my attention was the title "Welcome Our Newest People" I saw your face and thought it couldn't be true but I watched some more and I found the PO Box and thought I should tell you we all want to see you again we miss you and love you Abby please come back even if it's only for a week.

I finish reading with tears running down my face
"I need to see them" is all I can say as I drop the paper and walk off

Max's (pov)
I give Abby the letter that was sent to her she opens it and looking really confused to have got a letter she reads the note and starts crying after she is finished she drops the note and say something I can just make out
"I need to see them"
I was confused so I picked up the note and read it, I need to take her back to New Zealand for a week or so to see her old friends so I book a flight there for 2 weeks from now I ask Adam if I can take the time off he says its fine and I tell her that I have a surprise for her and I'll tell her in about a week or 2
Back to now
I knock on Abby's door and go in she's sitting on the ground playing with Gracey. She looks at me with her bright blue eyes and says
"so wants the surprise"
I give her the plane tickets to New Zealand and she just looks at the tickets for a few seconds then she jumps up and hugs me
"Thank you so much, when do we leave"
"Tomorrow" I say smiling she lets go
"I need to pack Gracey's and my stuff"
"Yes you do" I say then walk out and told her I was going to work, when she's was done she ran out called up work and asked if they could come in, so quickly went and got them and came back. When we got back Adam had Mason (Mason is 4 in this) and Mason was running away from Red who was trying to grab him, as we walked in
Gracey said "another child I be friends with him"
She said it to Abby quietly so no one would hear but I did, so I called Mason over and introduced him to her, after about 2-3 minutes they seemed to be best friends. For the rest of the day Abby helped me with editing and pissed everyone else off when she got bored.
