VI) Old Friends

Abby (pov)
I wake up in the morning and see Gracey still asleep I get up and get changed as I'm walking out to get food I see Max
"Are you ready to go"
"Yea I guess"
"Come on get Gracey up we leave in 3 hours"
"Ok" with that I go get some food eat get Gracey up and ready give her some food, put mine and her stuff in the car and go back to get her and we go to the office to say bye within 2 hours we are at the airport and almost ready to bored I have the picture of me and my friends in my hand 'I don't want to hurt you guys again I miss you so much' I think to myself we bored our flight with Max in the middle, me on the left and Gracey on the right after what seemed like hours I saw Gracey sleeping on Max's lap and soon after I fell asleep on his shoulder.

Max's (pov)
Both Abby and Gracey are asleep on me they look so peaceful I think about how the trip will be and thinking more about it I have know clue where this place is that we are going too I mean I know where New Zealand is but like where in New Zealand we are going. After I stopped thinking about it I slowly fell asleep to. I woke up to the pilot talking we with be landing soon please have set beats done up with in an hour or so the plane started landing so I woke Abby and Gracey up.
"What where are we"
"We are landing"
"So we are in Australia"
"I think so"
"Yea we have one more plane to catch its a 2 hour flight" she finished and just sat there, after we landed she found a phone and called someone and asked for someone else's number then she called them and all I heard was her asking if they could pick us up.
"Ok so someone is picking us up at the airport" she seemed really happy about it "so when do we catch the next flight"
"About an hour or so" I answer
"Ok"
Time skip landing in New Zealand
We land in New Zealand and as we are getting out of the plane I notice Abby looking really happy I a really sleepy way (I don't know)
"Yay I'm home" she said happily "Gracey we are home"
She seems so happy, as we walk off the plane we go to get our stuff and enter Abby still has a New Zealand passport but I don't and Gracey doesn't need one yet. We get through border security ok and all I see is her run off and hug this man so I walk up to him introduce myself.
"Hey I'm Max I adopted Abby and Gracey"
"Hello Max in Rick a friend of Abby's dad"
"So what are you doing here"
"Abby asked me to pick you people up because you don't have a car and or know these roads"
"Good thinking Abby" we walk out to a silver van that's messy on the inside and outside "so why is this car so messy" I ask out of curiosity
"You'll find out, marshmallow (nickname) is our old still mine or is it sold"
"It's still not slow I refused to sell it because to many memories are at it"
"Ok" and with that we all got in the car Abby got in front and started playing her music I didn't mind, she likes some really good bands.
After about an hour I ask how long is this drive going to be
"About another hour" Abby says singing a long to her music.
After another hour we turn off and pass a school it's about 1 o'clock and it's a school day so Abby asks if she can go to school for a bit, Rick stops and let's her out and we keep driving for like 30 seconds and then turn down a driveway and there was the house Rick dropped me and Gracey at the house, gave me the keys and got in another van and left. I walked inside the house to see pictures of Abby and her family all around there were 3 pictures of when she looked to be about 3-4. I decided to wait till Abby came home before looking at everything else.

Abby (pov)
I asked Marshmallow to drop me off at school so I could surprise my friends lunch was about to start so I went in the office and asked what class they were in and I went and waited outside that class the bell went and (I'm just going to use my friends nicknames ok ok) Gráss ran out I graded her
"Hey I'm back"
"Abby what the fuck you got my letter"
"I missed you people so much can we go find the others"
"Yes sure lets go on an adventure"
"Yea" and we both walked off we saw Welshman next he didn't see me until after I jumped on his back, when he realized it was me he refused to let me go so I just gave up on trying to escape and everyone else just appeared and I gave them all hugs while Welshman was still hugging me, I managed to escape and find some of my older friends and scare the shit out of them after lunch I stared to walk home
Gráss yelled at me "you can't leave or scare me like the ever again"
"But I'm living in Washington now in sorry Gráss I will miss you"
"When are you coming back"
"Tomorrow I'm coming to school then I'm helping pack some stuff to take to Washington and going on a hunt to find fluffy"
"Ok bye"
I walk home and remember all the weird times me and nick had when walking home like getting picked up by our neighbour that's a bus driver and being attacked by a magpie and so many other times, when I got home I was crying and I just walked to my old room to see not her had changed. I fall on the ground looking at it all my posters all my awards everything Max ran in and hugged me calming me down.
The next day I go to school ask Gráss to tell her mum she is coming to help me pack up my room to move out as the day goes we take selfies and talk about what's happened while I've been gone and all that stuff.
The next day Gráss comes over helps me take my posters down and take everything I can out of my room and put it in a box. Slowly we finished packing everything and I was ready to go back to Washington.
