Friday before Spring Break, I was wearing my  dark blue dress with black ripped leggings and combat boots with a black hoodie. I went out to my bus stop. The city bus was always quieter than a normal school bus. As I payed my fee I sat in the middle of the bus and put my headphones in. Car Radio by Twenty one pilots played. I put it on repeat and started zoning out when Max came over wearing a black beanie. He smiled and sat down by me. "Hey Alice." I smiled before saying "hi." He was really happy. "Today's riddle: How is a raven like a writing desk?" That was a hard one. "I don't know." I responded. We never really talked much besides the riddle he asked daily but I'd like to consider him my friend.

The bus  pulled up about a block away from the high school so we'd have to walk. As we were walking I saw Cora in her red mustang drive by. When we finally got to the school, she was just getting out and checking her red lipstick. She always wore red, the only thing about her that wasn't red was her black hair and black  eyes. As I was walking by she held out her 6 inch red heals and tripped me. "oops.." She mumbled lucking her car door. It wouldn't have been so bad if i hadn't fallen into a puddle. Cora took a picture on her IPhone. She smirked, "That'll teach you, weird little emo" she hit what i assumed was the send button and walked off. Max wasn't anywhere to be seen so I took of running to the bathroom. I started crying because i was soaked and the paper towels weren't helping. She was always doing something like this. My jacket was ruined so there was no point in keeping it. Out of frustration, I threw my jacket in the trash. "I hate you Cora!!" I went to punch the mirror but something strange happened, my fist went through it. It wasn't solid like a mirror. I kept trying to see if it was solid at any other part of the mirror but it wasn't. Next thing i knew Cora came into  the bathroom. "Oh look..trying to see if you can make your reflection any less ugly?" Next thing I knew, she pushed me through the mirror.
