Why Did You Go?

Chapter 3

"Mummy! Mummy! Get up! We gotta see Theo!" Noah jumped next to me and laid down, I stretched and rubbed my eye's, I looked over and saw him, he smiled at me and I smiled back. I got up and started getting Noah dress and to take him out for breakfast, we went into McDonald's and got biscuits and gravy.

"I can't wait to play with Theo!" Noah drank his chocolate milk and started eating. Noah would tell a funny story about what happen in the past and it would put a big smile on my face, I mean yeah he's 4 but he can remember things from last year.

"Mommy?" Noah asked when he got done with all of his food, I looked up at him

"Yes baby?" I could tell this wasn't going to be good from the way he is suddenly acting and from the way he didn't look at me

"Last night I heard you talking to Nanna and I heard you was talking about my special daddy" Noah looked up to see my face, I nod to show him that it was ok to talk about it, I don't want him to think for his own, not yet anyway.

"What did you mean that daddy was singer, and is always working? I know that you told me a little bit about it." I guess it was time to talk to him about it, some of it. I sighed and looked around to see if their would be anyone that we might know or something, then looked back at Noah

"Your daddy sing's for girls and boys who like to hear him sing, and daddy is always on the road, he sings, he meets his fans, he makes smell goods too. So daddy is working." I study his face, he don't look to sad about it, he nod and smiled and went back to his drink

"So do you think that daddy would be at Nanna's?" I shrug my shoulders at him, I know it's bad but, I don't him to meet Niall yet, I don't even want to face him right now

"I don't know baby. Let's refill your cup and we go over to see Nanna and Grandpa." Noah jumps down from his set and walks over to the fountain drink, I got him cool aid and I got me a cup of coffee.

We got to Maura's house, Noah knocked on the door and Bobby opened it, Bobby picked Noah up and hugged him. We walked in and gave everyone a hug, Noah and Theo was playing with Greg's new kitten. The adults was setting in the living room talking.

"I'm glad you made it!" Denise smiled and put her coke down on the table, Greg walked over to the kids and was playing with them, I smiled and nod

"I'm just glad that I don't have to drive that long for a few more days" I said, we laughed and Bobby smiled, Maura finally sat down on the couch with some snacks.

"I still can't believe how big he is getting! Theo was tiny when he was Noah's age" Denise said and nod her head, she looked over at her little boy, I missed seeing him when he was just a baby

"Theo is so happy that he has a little cousin who he can play with" she said, I laughed and looked at Theo

"Noah is happy that he has Theo. I think Noah gets lonely at the house sometimes." I tried to put on a real happy smiled, I looked up at them I think they bought it, all but Maura, she could always see right through me when I lie, or if I'm in any type of pain.

"Why don't you guys move down here?" Bobby asked, I looked over at him and smiled. I have thought about it before but I just didn't want the Horan's to think that I was being a stalker or anything.

"I would love to move, but I just don't think that I can afford to move right now." I thought about what I said and it's true, I don't make that much money, and Noah has lots of toys, clothes, blankets, and so forth but I would have to have moving trucks to take our stuff to our other house, and I would have to make Noah help with everything, and he is a handful!

"I have a truck, and Maura has a van, you have a nice size car, I sure Denise and Greg have their own car, I'm sure they wouldn't mind to help out at all" Bobby piped up again. Bobby has never got close to Noah like he has Theo and it hurts him because that's his grandson and he loves spending time with him
