Chapter Four

Vics P.O.V.

-The Next Day-

I was walking around outside of the bus, deciding what I should do. Its almost three and Jaime hasn’t said anything about last night. Apparently my drunk act was pretty damn good. I wanted to tell him that all of it was real, and it wasn’t just me being drunk, but what if he was just drunk too, and that's why he hasn’t said anything. I had to decide quickly because, we only had two hours till our set.  But I don’t know if I should tell him or not. What if it ruins our entire friendship. I don't want to risk it, but yet again, I do. The worst he could say is no, and I could move on, and put all of this behind me. I’m going to tell him.

“Hey Vic. It’s almost time to practice.” I heard Jaime say from behind me. Maybe this was a sign. Him showing up after I decided on telling him. Or maybe I’m just creating another reason for me to tell him. “Can I talk to you?” I asked him. “Yeah. Of course.” “Can we go into a more private area.” He nodded, and followed me to a small, closed off area. “So, what is it?” I took in a deep breath, preparing myself for what might happen next. “About last night.” I started slowly. “I wasn’t really drunk, and I don’t think you were either. I remember everything about that kiss we shared. I really do like you, and have for a while. I just need to know how you feel.” I spat out quickly.

“I wasn’t really drunk, and I don’t think you were either. I remember everything about that kiss we shared. I really do like you, and have for a while. I just need to know how you feel.” he told me. I was shocked, yet relieved. He really did love me back. “I-I don’t know what to say.” I replied, still shocked. “Do you know how to show it?” he asked. I nodded my head, and moved closer to him. I wrapped my arms around his waist, his around my neck. “I’ve been waiting to do this since the day we met.” I whispered to him.

I leaned down and kissed him. This kiss contained more passion than the one we shared last night. I could tell that he felt the same way. After an eternity of time, we pulled away. I gazed down into his, beautiful, chocolate brown eyes. “How long have you known?” he asked me abruptly. “Known what?” “That you were gay” “Since high school, when I met you. I just owned up to it a few years ago.” I admitted. “I was the same.” he told me, almost as if he was ashamed of it.  “Are we going to tell Mike and Tony?” “I think we need to. After all Mike is my brother, and Tony is pretty much family.” I nodded in agreement. “ You don’t think they’re going to hate us do you?” he asked me. “I know that they won’t. They’ve been trying to hook us up for a while now.” I assured him. “We should probably head back now. Its almost time for our set.” He took my hand in his, and we walked back to the bus.

As we entered we saw the same thing we see every time we walk in. Mike and Tony sitting on the couch together, whispering things in each others ears. Vic fake coughed to get their attention. They looked up at us, then down to our interlocked fingers. “Finally! You made Fuenciado official!” Tony squealed. “Could you not?” Vic laughed. Even his laugh was perfect. Everything about him was perfect. “We’re not exactly official. I mean, we didn’t make it official.” I mumbled. “Do you want it to be official.” he asked me. I shyly nodded, not knowing if he wanted the same. “Then in that case, Jaime Preciado, would you be my boyfriend?” “Yes.” I replied. As I was getting ready to kiss him, I heard a whimper from behind me.

I turned around to see Tony trying not to die of excitement. “What the fuck? Big deal, we made it official. Its not that important.” I snapped unintentionally. I didn’t know why I did, I really wanted everything I did with Vic to be perfect. “I’m sorry, I was just so happy for you two.” he pouted, seeming somewhat scared from my sudden outburst. “Sorry Tony, I didn’t mean to blow up on you like that.” I apologized. “You better be sorry. You scared my turtle.” Mike scolded me. I felt Vic squeeze my hand, which made me feel a little bit better. “Can we all not fight, and just get to our stage, it’s almost time for our set.” Vic told everyone.
