Its All Over Now - Chapter Nine

Chapter Nine

Jaimes P.O.V.

 

I felt my heart stop, and tears prick at my eyes. How could he be doing this? Taking a break wasn’t the right way for us to go. I opened my mouth to protest, but nothing came out. All I knew that was happening was that tears were falling rapidly down face. “Vic, don’t do this. We can’t let the fans down like this.” Mike yelled at him.

 

“Mike this isn’t about you. I need to sort some shit out.” he sighed. I kept on sobbing, wanting to say something, but I couldn’t. I felt Vics arms wrapped around me. I leaned my head into his chest, and cried. I heard Mike exit the bus with rage, and Tony followed, trying to calm him down. I didn’t want this to happen. Fucking Kellin had to go and ruin everything.

 

“Please don’t leave the band Vic.” I mumbled. “I need to Jaime. Just for a short time. But you’re going to come back to San Diego with me, right?” he whispered in my ear. “I guess I could. What about Mike and Tony?” I whimpered. I don’t know why I was so upset. I wasn't this sad when Kellin and Vic kissed.

 

“We don’t need to worry about them baby. They have a life of their own. We can get away for a year or two, and love each other more than ever.” he told me happily. “That's sounds wonderful, but how do you think the fans are going to react. Some of them bought tickets to Warped, just to see us. Do you know how many of them we’re letting down. Do you know how many fans we’re going to lose.” I began to sob again.

 

Vics P.O.V.

 

“We don’t need to worry about them baby. They have a life of their own. We can get away for a year or two, and love each other more than ever.” I told Jaime, trying to cheer him. To be honest though, none of this was for me to love Jaime more, it was for me to get away from Kellin. The way I felt when he kissed me, was something I can’t feel again. I need to feel something stronger towards Jaime, and spending a year or two away from fame could change everything. “That's sounds wonderful, but how do you think the fans are going to react. Some of them bought tickets to Warped, just to see us. Do you know how many of them we’re letting down. Do you know how many fans we’re going to lose.” he finished, and began to sob.

 

I pulled him into a tighter hug, then he was in. “Babe, it’ll be okay. We’ll be back together in a little over a year. If they’re true fans, they’ll stay with us. They can pull through. Just like all of us did when Austin went through heart surgery, and especially when Mitch died. We all banded together like a family, and we can do it again.” I soothed him, rubbing his back, and kissing his cheek repeatedly.

 

“I guess you’re right Vic.” he sighed in defeat. “It’ll all be okay. But we have set to play in 30 minutes, and we have to tell the fans we’re leaving, so lets go find the other two.” he got up out his seat, with one last tear dripping down his face. I quickly gave him a reassuring kiss, as we walked out the door of the bus, for what was about to be my last gig for a while.

 

-- After The Set--

 

“So guys. One of our previous gigs, we told you Jaime and I were dating. Well now we have some non-fuenciado related bad news.” I started, trying to keep my composure. This was going to be a lot harder than I thought it would be. “A lot of stuff has happened in the week and half we’ve been on tour, but these past few days have been a lot. So Pierce The Veil will no longer be performing at Warped. I’m so sorry, but as well as that we’ll be going on a two year break. I don’t want this happen, but it needs to.”

 

As soon as I finished the crowd erupted in tears, and boos. “We really do feel bad about this guys, but I promise we will be back, but in time. So I guess see you guys in a few years we love you all!” Tony yelled into the crowd a few tears falling down his face as well. But before we left I saw Mike and Tony exchange a look. “Wait! We have one last thing to tell you!” I yelled quickly, but loudly. I gave the mic to Tony, and gestured for Mike to join him up front.

 

Tonys P.O.V.

 

Mike and I stood front stage I was frozen and didn’t know what to do. Mike took the microphone out of my hand and spoke for me. “Like Vic said, him and Jaime came out last week, well as cliche as this sounds. Tony and I are in love as well. We have been for over a year, and are still going strong. Just not as strong as we used to. That's why this break will be a good thing. We love all of you guys so much, and thank you for putting up with it.” he announced. I pecked his lips as a thank for making me not talk, and everyone awed. I felt cheeks flush red as I waved goodbye and walked off stage, Mike following close behind.

 

Jaimes P.O.V.

That was it. Tony and Mike said their goodbyes. The band was no more. I never thought this day would come, but now that it’s here, I’ve never felt so upset in my life.
