"No I did not find you attractive when I came in," I lie which causes Jaden to eye me suspiciously.
"There is no point in lying Isabella, you are going to have to cave in to your feelings at some point," He boasts which makes me scoff and roll my eyes. His annoying cocky attitude is not helping us become at least friends."I'm not lying," Of course I'm lying! I mean look at him! You could be dead and still find him attractive!
"Okay, whatever you say babe." My cheeks blush slightly from the nickname and he let out a bark of laughter. I give him my best death glare which only makes him laugh at me more, god why is he so frustrating! I tell him to stop being annoying which only makes him laugh harder.
"Awh, you're too cute." He coos and I do my best to keep my normal shade.
"How many girls have you been with?" I ask suddenly and both of us look surprised with my question.
"You mean slept with? Or had a relationship with?"
"Just do relationship," A smirk places itself upon his face.
"None," my Jaw hit the floor. Even me, a semi popular unfit girl from a tiny town in the north of England, has been in a relationship so it should have been no issue for, obviously popular and extremely fit boy, Jaden. "Close your mouth," he laughs.
"I can't believe it,"
"Yeah, yeah get over it," He moans obviously annoyed with my teasing and I laugh.
"How many people have you slept with?" God I knew they were going to be upfront questions.
"Nah, I'm not playing if you're going to ask those questions!" I jumped down from the counter and went into the living room. Suddenly the doorbell chimed so I went and opened it. There stood a young delivery man with our pizza.
"Hi," I said and he gave me a warm smile. I must admit, he was attractive. He had short blonde hair and gorgeous tanned skin which suited his amazing blue eyes perfectly.
"Hey beautiful," I blushed at his compliment although I was quite surprised at how upfront and confident he was being. I looked down at the pizza and then remembered I need money to pay for it.
"Oh, I will just go grab the -" I was cut off by someone coming up behind me and wrapping their hands around my waist and bringing me into their chest.
"Here," I watched as Jaden leaned forward over my shoulder and handed the man the money. The delivery guy rolled his eyes and passed Jaden the pizza sloppily. He then stood there looking down at me looking like he was deciding whether or not to ask me something but it just made a really awkward situation.
"You can leave now," Jaden told him with jealously laced through his cold tone. Jealousy? I smirked to myself knowing that Jaden hadn't ever had anyone to be protective over and now he was being so over me. I could use this to my advantage. The door slamming interrupted me from my thoughts and I felt as Jaden snaked his hand around my waist and led me to the sofa with the pizza in the other hand. I sat down on the sofa opposite the TV while he put the food onto the round coffee table in front of me.
The sofa then dipped from next to me as Jaden sat down and we dug into the food. We stayed on that sofa until midnight, talking and laughing about random topics and it got me thinking- maybe this won't be so bad.
I shout Jaden's name through the flat but I get no reply. We woke up this morning and immediately started getting ready for the party we were apparently having lately. He reminded me that he was popular and in order to keep up his status he would have to throw parties quite often but I agreed and told him not to worry because I don't mind some parties. Also it might be a way to make friends before I start university on Thursday. Today is currently Tuesday so I have a few days to get ready and make some friends.
He told me earlier that he was going out to get some drink for later but that was about 2 hours ago and he couldn't possibly take that long choosing drink, could he? As if on cue I heard the door open and Jaden walk in with some other people. They are chatting about how excited they are about tonight until they are interrupted by Jaden calling out my name. I shout back indicating that I was here and I hear a few whispers and chuckles before Jaden yells at me again "Come here,"
I get up from my spot on the bed with my laptop and trudge over to where the voices were coming from. I walk into the kitchen where 4 of them were sitting on the counter tops like we were yesterday. When they hear me come in all 4 heads towards me and smile/smirk.
"This is Cole," He points to the one sitting next to him who has short dark hair who has this hot, pale look going on. "Ace," He points to a boy who looks so similar to Jaden he could be his brother but not quite as fit as him. "And finally, Tyler," He points to the boy closest to me and it took me a lot not to laugh. Tyler had tan skin and blonde hair, the complete opposite of what the other 3 looked like. He looks more like one of their younger brothers than in their group.
"Tyler is Cole's brother," Jaden explained and I laughed.
"okay, that makes more sense." I say which makes the others chuckle except from Tyler.
"Hey, I'm almost 18," He moans and my eyes widen ... I'm almost 18 and he is supposed to be the younger one.
"Wait, Jaden how old are you?" Everyone else looks at us as if we were crazy to not know how old our roommate is. "I only moved in yesterday, okay!"
The others laugh. "Your funny Isabelle," Ace tells me and I correct him to Bella and he smiles friendly at me.
"I'm 19," he says casually, "How old are you?" He chuckles nervously obviously expecting me to be 19 as well.
"17," His eyes widen as well as the rest of the boys.
"You can't be only 17!" Cole tells me and the others nod in agreement with him.
"Well, according to my birth certificate I am." Tyler chuckles but the others are too surprised to.
I don't quite understand why it's such a big issue but I guess they are just surprised. I was always told that I looked older than I was but I thought it was just because I had to be mature because my parents couldn't look after themselves or my older brother and younger sister. I'm 18 in a month or so, so it's not that big a deal.
"Have you drank before?" Jaden asks me and I accidently scoff. I wasn't living in a hole Jaden!
"I do have a life, you know?"
"Oh do you now?" Jaden asks sarcastically which makes the other boys laugh. "I don't think you've drank like we drink," Jaden says with a smirk.
"Is that a challenge?" I ask while taking a step towards Jaden. The other boys 'oooo'. Suddenly Jaden pulls me towards him so I am stood imbetween his open legs and our faces only inches apart. His eyes flicker down to my lips and for a second I think he's about to kiss me but then he suddenly leans into my ear and whispers: "I think it is,"
"Okay, I drink just as much as you and if I don't throw it up later I win and I get the bed for a week, if I do throw up you get the bed for a week."
"Game on."
