To say that the rest of the shopping trip was terrible, is an understatement. It turned out for some reason all of them had to go leaving me on my own in the restaurant with no way of getting home. I ended up having to walk an hour to a bus stop and getting a groggy, old bus home sitting next to this old man who had breath like a sewage pipe. When I walked through the door I was still furious but fortunately for him, Jaden wasn't home so I couldn't punch him In the face.
I have to admit, what happened In the bathroom with the barbies did scare me a little because I could tell by Kirsty's tone of voice that she could easily ruin my life, well more than it is at the moment. I used to be bullied in my old, old school because everyone thought I was the reason my parents drugged themselves up every day. I came home with at least one new bruise each day but I didn't have anyone to talk to about it. Finally, my parents told me that they wanted to move away from our home in Kent and go and live in Brighton.
I thought that the move will be good for me and I will get over my fear of people hurting me but although the physical pain stopped, I was still dying inside. I dealt with this fear for all of high school and, thankfully, I did manage to lose it. I made friends easily and for once in my life I was finally able to feel happy about going to school. I signed up to take a course to become a police officer at Brighton University and I was thrilled when I was accepted. I would finally be at a school where no one but Gemma would know about my home situation and I wouldn't have any reason for someone to dislike me, until now.
But I am a lot brave and stronger than I was in High School so im not going to let Kirsty and her little clique bully and threaten me. I am brave enough to stand up for myself so that's exactly what im going to do.
"Bella!" I was suddenly snapped out of my thoughts by the sound of the door bursting open and Jaden calling my name. I sat up on the bed and quickly opened my laptop so it doesn't look like ive been sitting here moping for an hour. The door swung open just as I managed to load up ITunes and I let out a small sigh of relief. Jaden also let out a sigh of relief when he saw me and I was surprised at his appearance. He had small droplets of sweat resting on his forehead and his hair was scruffy from where he must have been running his hand through it, he look ... worried.
"Are you okay, Jaden?" I asked with a small smirk on my face and he looked up from the ground to me and scoffed slightly.
"I wasn't worried, if that's what you're going to ask." He says and quickly walks out of the room. My smirk grows, knowing that he was worried about me and I start following him out of the room.
"Awh have you been looking for me?" I coo and he glares at me.
"Bella, stop it." He warns with a stern face on but that only makes me want to annoy him more. I grab his arm as he goes to walk past me again and pull him into a hug. At first it was just me awkwardly hugging him while he was just standing there but eventually he laughed and hugged me back. "You are so annoying,"
I pull back from the hug and smile at him sweetly causing him to chuckle.
For the rest of the evening we talked in front of the TV while eating our pizzas. He explained to me about how the girls had to leave because Sophie's car was being towed and the boys just thought I had gone with them and hadn't been able to go into the girl's bathroom to check anyways. He asked me why I took so long in the bathroom but I managed to dodge the question with another question and thankfully he didn't realise.
It turns out that he had been calling me for the past 2 hours but I must have dropped my phone in the bathroom when the Barbie pushed me but I can always go and get that tomorrow after school. We decided that we would both sleep in the bed as long as he sleeps as far away as possible from me but we ended up both passing out on the couch anyways.
