"Where the fuck have you been today?" Jaden asks me with a subtle smirk on his face. I came into the criminology class early thinking that nobody would be in here but It turns out Jaden comes early as well for some reason.
"Worried about me again, huh?" I challenge back and although he scoffs I can tell that he does care about me and he was worried were I was. Well, I know that because Sophie told me that he has been asking where I went all day but I can tell from him tone of voice as well.
"Don't flatter yourself, babe." My heart flutters slightly at his words and I'm taken back by the sudden butterflies in my stomach, I'm never normally like this around Jaden.
After the incident in the hallway I went straight back home and tried to sort out the mess Kirsty has made in my life. I still have no idea how she managed to find out but at the moment all I'm worried about is what she's going to do with the information. I decided that it probably wasn't best for me to miss my first whole day of school so I decided to come in for last period which happens to be with Jaden.
"I'm not going to be able to drop you home tonight, Bel."
I look over to Jaden confused because he had already told me that he would bring me home every night after school which at the time I thought was really sweet but I should have known he would never stick to it, we might be friends but he's still a douche.
"Fine," I grumble at him and he raises an eyebrow suspiciously.
"I have Football training if you want to come?" He offers and immediately jump up and down in excitement and smile widely at him. "Normally we don't let girls in because they are all screamish and scared but you seem alright to me,"
I run over and give him a hug which he quickly returns. I'm still jumping up and down in excitement until I stop suddenly. I pull out of the hug to look at a very sheepish and embarrassed Jaden.
"Did you just smell my hair?" I asked slowly and Jaden just scratched his neck obviously embarrassed and it takes me a lot not to smile how similar we are becoming from just living together. No, stop bella! Focus on the situation in front of you.
I cant believe he just smelt my hair. Like that's something people do when they like each other. No, Jaden cant like me ... he's the player for gods sake! I doubt that Jaden has ever properly liked someone in ages and I don't think he's going to suddenly start with me. Well, I wouldn't complain if he does...
No wait, I would complain. We can't be a thing while living together! It would mean we just skipped like the first 10 points in a relationship and then we would probably fail as a couple. Wait? Why am I even thinking this deeply into this? He probably just has a cold and was sniffing, or likes the smell of my coconut shampoo?
"Are you arguing with yourself inside your head?" Jaden snaps me out of my thoughts while laughing hysterically at me. I go deep red when I realise we have been stood in silence for about the last minute with me awkwardly waving my hands about pretending I am having an argument with a real person.
"Don't answer my question with another question," I warn him and it becomes obvious he thought he had gotten away with it.
"So are you coming to training or what?"
"You did it again!"
"Shut up Bella, god why was I stuck with such an annoying roommate?"
"You know you love me," I tease and he raises an eyebrow at me causing both me and him to laugh. "But yeah, I'll come to training. It gives me a chance to wear my new football shirt!"
Before I left home I brought the newest Chelsea football team shirt and I couldn't have been more excited to wear it so as soon as it came I put it on but my stupid step-father said I wasn't allowed to wear it because apparently "we support Arsenal in this house". I scoffed at his words knowing full well that my mother is a big Chelsea fan but she was too drugged up to care. I shiver slightly from the memory of my parents and decided to focus on Jaden rather than getting myself worried about them, they don't deserve my care.
"Ooh what team did you get?" Jaden asks, curious about what team I support.
"Chelsea, duh" I tell him and he slams his fists down onto the table causing the now almost full room to turn around and look at him. It only takes Jaden to look up and glare at people slightly for everyone to turn back away again. He's more powerful than I thought.
"I support Arsenal," I groan at the thought of being forced to support that team against my will because there is practically no way he will let me support one of their rival teams. "Well, I can't wait for the Chelsea vs Arsenal match next Sunday," He says sarcastically and my eyes widen.
Shit. I forgot they were playing, well there is definitely going to be an argument or two in our house next Sunday... or five maybe.
"Listen up class," A young male teacher stood at the front of the class with his uniform white shirt, tie and trousers which look mighty fine on him. I look around to see the rest of the girls in this class , which is only like 3 others, checking him out and the boys all rolling their eyes. Not going to lie, I'm looking forward to this lesson.
The bell rings signalling the end of the day and I couldn't believe the hour was already up. Everyone quickly started packing their bags up and leaving while I was just sat there day dreaming so I quickly got up and started packing up. During the lesson Jaden had been watching me like a hawk. Every time I asked a question to the teacher of even really looked at him he started rolling his eyes and glaring at Mr Hale.
"Hurry up, Bel." Jaden moaned at me so I quickly shoved my pencil case in my bag and walked out the door with him trailing behind me.
We walked to the changing rooms where I changed into my football kit which I keep in my locker as a change of clothes. I then met Jaden outside where he was standing with Ace, Tyler, Cole and the twins. Its now that I realise that Jaden and Ace tower above all of the others by at least and inch and a half and Jaden is still slightly taller than Ace. Jesus, he must be like 6 foot 3 or something!
"Bella!" Tyler cheered once he saw me and I groaned when he came and engulfed me in a massive hug. Since we met we've sort of had a thing where he would badly flirt with me for a joke and I would get annoyed at him. "What are you doing here, babe?"
"I'm trying out for the team," I said sassily and all of the boys except Jaden looked at me like I was crazy. "Jaden said I could,"
All of their heads turn to Jaden in sync but he just shrugs. "What? I wanted to see what she's got!"
"But we don't have any girls on our team," I look around to see about 7 other guys either looking at me strangely or checking me out, boys *rolls eyes*.
"Well then bella might be the first," One of the twins rolls his eyes at the thought of having a girl on his team but I don't think he realises how good I am, not to brag or anything. Meanwhile, Tyler, Cole and Ace look honestly excited that I might be joining the team and they come over and give me a massive bear hug.
Jaden smirks while looking at me as if asking if I was ready. I give him a small nod and his smirk widens.
"Okay let's get started then,"
Okay, so i know that i have been posting loads of filler chapters recently but you just need to get the idea of their relationship before like any of the major drama happens and i promise there is some drama coming up!
