At the moment all I was doing was sitting in my bed at Camp, shifting through some of my mom's old belongings. I know it may sound sappy, but ever since she died, having this box, which was basically her in object form really helps. It's kinda like she's stills here, watching me while I look through her stuff.

But still, I'd rather have a stalker mom then no mom at all.
As I was looking through the box, I noticed there was a little piece of paper that I've never seen before. I unfolded, only to see a picture of 2 little girls smiling. The one in the right looked like mom, so I assumed it was her as a kid since I didn't have a sister.
But I had no idea who the girl on the right was. There was writing on the back, probably the names of the people or more specifically, the girl on the left.
It took several minutes for my dyslexia to stop moving all the letter around. Once all the letters stopped flying around the page like Jason on drugs I was finally able to read the caption.
Natasha and Esperanza, half-sisters for ever
What? My mom had a half-sister, that I've never heard about before. How is that possible.
'Well it's possible since you haven't seen your mortal side of the family since you were, like, four.' I thought.
I pulled out my monster proof phone and did a quick internet search over her.
Nothing.
So that either means that she's dead, or that she for some mysterious reason doesn't have any connection to social media.
But, I wasn't ready to give up yet, there was a 50-50 chance that she was still alive and I wasn't going to give up yet.
Maybe the police station has some information on her, I mean it can't hurt to ask right? Well if she is alive, maybe she'll be willing to take me in, she and my mom did seem pretty close.
Finally deciding, I left a quick note on Chiron's desk saying I'll be back in hour and grabbed one of the camp vans. (That's right, I got my license, be jealous!)
Look out Natasha Romanoff, Leo Valdez is coming for you.
