"So she's bi?" I asked. I was sitting on Ally's bedroom floor with my legs crossed. Ally was laying on her back and Dinah had her legs extended, her back leaning on the wall.
"Lauren?" Dinah asked.
"Mhm," I confirmed.
"Yeah, she's hooked up with girls and guys but she's only 'dated' one person," Ally answered me.
"This Brad guy?"
"If you can even call it a relationship. I think she just felt bad for him." Dinah shrugged her shoulder and I nodded in understanding. "By the way, we told Normani about our plan to get you guys together."
"Of course, you did," I rolled my eyes, jokingly. "They're best friends, though. Isn't she going to tell Lauren?"
"I doubt it, but even if she does, then, at least, Lauren will have the idea planted in her head." I nodded once more.
"You guys seem to have gotten pretty friendly tonight, no?" Ally came in.
"Yeah, Dinah was right, she's a sweetheart."
"You should've told her you were into girls when you had a chance, Mila!" Dinah said.
"I thought about it," I told her honestly. "But I figured I would come up when it comes up."
"That's probably better." Ally agreed with me. "You still has almost an entire month to fall in love and live happily ever after."
"I'm glad you guys have big dreams," I laughed. "I'm going to bed, though, thanks for taking me out, girls!" I got up from the floor and started putting my hair in a bun.
"Yes, good idea! Get a ton of rest so you have all your energy to talk to Lauren tomorrow!" Dinah clapped her hands together.
"Funny!" I answered sarcastically, walking to the door.
"Night Mila!" They called out to me.
"Goodnight!"

The next day I found myself in the library. Opting out of a beginners class for my native tongue, Spanish, I decided to get some of my own work done.
The period had just started so I had roughly seventy-five minutes to focus on all my work and I was determined to; until I saw someone pull up the chair in front of me.
"Cameela," Lauren said, Cuban accent and all. "How's it going?" She flashed a smile my way before putting a couple of books down on the table.
"It's going," I answered, pulling an earphone out of my ear. "What about you?"
"It's going a lot better now that I have a free." She joked and then stopped what she was doing. "you don't mind if I sit there, do you?" She pointed and I followed her finger to the chair next to me.
"No," I croaked, then cleared my throat. "Of course not."
"I usually spend my free periods on Tumblr and whatnot so I have to sit against the wall so if any teachers pass by, they can't see what I'm doing but you're in my seat." She said with a straight face.
"Oh shit, I didn't know. Here, I'll move," I got up, obviously out of all the seats in this entire library, I had to take hers.
"Camila," she laughed, then grabbed my arm. "Camila, I'm kidding sit down." I did what I was told, not really sure what to do. Why the fuck was I so nervous? "I was just teasing, hun."
I laughed politely, unsure of what to do or say. It was nice she was joking with me and I'm glad was making that effort I just honestly didn't know what to say.
