I was woken up the next morning by soft lips pressing against my jaw from behind.
As my eyes fluttered open, I became aware of Lauren's arm around my waist and her body pressed against my back.
I reached behind me to place my hand on her cheek, running my thumb along the skin there.
"Good morning," Lauren rasped and I've yet to hear a more attractive sound in my life.
"I really like waking up like this, both of us in underwear and a tshirt." I rolled onto my other side to face her.
"Oh yeah?"
"I mean I preferred last night without all of us," I tugged down at the hem of her shirt.
"I have to agree with you there," She leaned forward and kissed me softly. "So what's the plan for today?"
"No idea, I think the girls mentioned something for tonight? A party, maybe?"
"That rings a bell, are you down?" Lauren asked, reaching over to grab her phone and mine that were on the bedside table.
"Yeah, if you guys are,"
"You know, we met at a party," She handed me my phone. I chuckled.
"I know, I was there," Giggling, I leaned forward and placed a kiss on Lauren's cheek. She was now laying on her back and I cuddled into her side, resting my head on her shoulder. Lauren's hand wrapped itself around my back and ran up and down slowly. Lauren let out a content sigh.
Lauren unlocked her phone and found some messages in the group chat between the girls and I and then more in one between her, Vero, Lucy, and Alexa. She opened that one first and moved the phone so I could see.
Most of the messages were funny pictures and gifs which began a conversation between Lauren and I. Luckily, we both agreed gif was pronounced with a 'G' and not a 'J'. I honestly would have ended things then and there if she hadn't agreed. You can learn a lot about a person based on how they pronounce gif. One message caught my attention.
Vero: $10 says lauren gets to second base tonight
I laughed aloud and Lauren seemed to let out a breath of relief.
"Can I answer?" I asked to which Lauren proceeded to hand me her phone.
Lauren: Vero, you owe Lauren $10. She went further. -Camila
"I know how to pick my girls," Lauren said.
"I know," I kissed her quickly. I then unlocked my own phone, putting Lauren's to the side.
I was surprised to find 12 unread messages from yesterday and this morning.
I unlocked my phone, resting my hand on Lauren's stomach. Most of them were from a group chat between Taylor, Selena, and I or the group chat of Ally, Dinah, Normani, Lauren, and I. However, there was one message that surprised me.
"Kendall as in your ex?" Lauren asked.
"Yeah, I don't know why she's texting me?"
"Damn, I forgot to send her the snapchat of me grabbing your butt!"
"She would get so butt hurt over something like that! Thank god you didn't,"
"I sent it to Ariana," Lauren said under her breath I almost didn't catch it.
