Chapter Four

•The Following week•
Linnise Prov.
I walked over my to locker and was getting my stuff for my next class. "I can't believe you and Joey are a thing!" Kendra whispered to me. "Well, we aren't really. Yet." I said "Wait,What?!? But you kissed and held hands and stuff, Wow your really new to this whole dating thing?" Kendra told me "Well he hasn't actually asked me to be his girlfriend" Kendra rolled her eyes as the bell rang. Joey walked over and gave me a hug. "Shall we headoff then" he tired to take me hand but a backed it away from him. After what Kendra said I really thought Maybe he's just playing me, to be more popular? He looked at me with a worry look on his face. "You okay?" Joey asked "What are we?" I asked "Humans..." he laughed , I cracked a small smile. "Well your mine,your my girlfriend?" He said that then looked right into my eyes. I saw the beautiful way they sparkled in the sun. My whole world stopped it was the first time I really looked deep into someone eyes "and I'm your girlfriend" I said as I cracked a smile.
We went into our next class witch was science "Everyone we will be starting a new project today. I'm asking everyone to get a partner!" Me and Joey looked at each other and knew this would be the first "couple" thing. Kenny ran up to me and ad asked if we wanted to be partners. "Aww Kenny I'm sorry told I Joey I would be with him." I told her."But it's a science project we're always partners," I gave her a sad look "It's his first project Kenny, don't make this difficult." She gave a rude look then walked away. Joey grabbed my hand and smiled. We were working on our project when the Lunch bell rang. "You coming?" I asked Joey "No, I'm need to ask the teacher some questions about the project" I smiled then walked to my locker. As I opened it Kenny walked up "I can't believe you did that to me. He's just a boy. Just because you have a boyfriend doesn't mean you can forget about me!" Kenny told me "Kendra what's got'n in to you. We've known each other for 8 years. I'm not just going to leave you!" I said to her as I got my stuff. "Well it doesn't seem that way! You know what, ever sense you've met this new kid you totally forgot about me!" She told me as her face tried red I raised my hand to slap her but Joey got my arm" Uh no I haven't! Also you did the same thing to me when you started dating Jake!" I said "I think you should leave" Joey said She then marched off to some grade 12 locker. I then noticed she KISSED HIM!?! Oh my god she's cheating on Zach! I thought "What?" Joey said. "Look over there she's all over that grade 12!" "Wow" Joey said. Just then Zach came up "Hey guys have you seen Kenny?" I gave Joey a look like Should we tell him "Haven't seen her." **Later that night**
Joey's Prov.
It was football practice, I was looking for Linnise in the stands Didn't see her. Maybe she had homework to finish before she could come. She always came to my practices she would read and usually talk to Kendra. But after Linnise almost slapped her they haven't been hangout. Then that Grade 12 came over me. "You the new kid, huh." He said as he looked me up and down. "I'm Ethan." "I'm Joseph people call me Joey." I told him. "So you know Kendra" "Ya why?" I asked him "She's pretty hot, but that friend of hers is super hot. What's her name, uh Linnise! Yah that's it!" Ethan said. I could fell my face go red "Oh you mean my girlfriend!" His face when blank. I lifted my fist and drove it back. "Hey!" I heard a girls voice. It was Linnise. "What are you doing, leave him alone!" She yelled. Linnise knew me too well she knew I was going to crush him. Ethan looked at me then ran as fast as he could to his friends, like he had any. I tried around and say Linnise with her hand on her hip and foot tapping. I lifted my hand then plopped them back down. Cracking a smile form her beautiful face. I blow a kiss at her then ran back over to coach.

After practice, I was walking out of the change room and say Linnise talking on the phone. She looked real angry. "I ACTUALLY CAN'T BELIVE YOU WOULD DO THAT TO HIM. HE'S SUCH A NICE GUY!" I knew who she was talking too. I got the phone out of her hand "Bye!" And hang up. She looked at me. "You were about to turn into hulk." She smiled as we turned the corner I saw Zach beating the crap out of Ethan and Kendra was screaming. Jake is a strong guy and he was going at it. I watch as Jake pounded Ethan. I then ran over as he broke Ethan nose"Hey,HEY! STOP IT!" I pulled the 2 boys off of each other. "Now what's this all about!" This was the first time ever I saw Zach cry. He had tears down his face and blood pouring out of his nose and mouth. As for Jake his nose was very broken. He had a cut on his chin and blood all over his shirt. "Linnise go get a teacher" I told her as I helped Ethan over to the bench. "What's wrong with you!?!" Kendra screamed at Jake and she sat beside Ethan "Ya dude what's your problem, this isn't like you!?" I said. He looked at all of us. With a blank look on his face with turned into a face of rage "I was walking home and I come around the back and BOOM that ass hole was making out with my girlfriend!" He pointed at Ethan.
