TIP #4: Don't bottle your feelings up, it will just drive you off the edge.

It's been about 2 months since the beginning of the apocalypse and we still haven't settled on where we are going.

My blue eyes flutter open, "HOLY JESUS! WAKE UP! THERE ARE ZOMBIES!"

Someone groans. I leap up and grab my Ruger. I throw Muna her machine gun. It hits her hard in the head. Her glare makes me giggle. Meanwhile, Jocelyn climbs out her seat, she grabs her 22 caliber. I push open the emergency exit on the roof. Muna stands up, rubbing her head. I yell, "Jocelyn step on the seat, I'll help you up!"

She climbs onto the seat. She grabs the exit, attempting to pull herself up. She gets about halfway up there. I push her feet upwards. She climbs up. Gunshots make me jump. Muna hoists herself up there without help. I jump onto the seat. I take the loaded clip out and put it in my mouth. The gun can still be loaded, so I pull back the barrel. A hollow point bullet comes out of the ejection port. I shove the gun in my waistband. I am taking precautionary measures so I don't hurt myself or anyone else. My fingers grip around the roof. My arms are shaking when I pull myself upwards. My foot presses against the roof, pulling the rest of my body up. I roll onto the top of the bus. I shove the clip back in the gun. My thumb presses the decocking lever down. My back is now pressed up against Muna and Jocelyn's. We fire our guns at the zombies below.

My ears start to ring intensively as we pull the trigger. Zombies heads kick back and they cripple to the ground. Muna shuffles to the end of the bus roof. Her gun flies upwards as she flies downwards. Her machine gun lands with a loud bang on the ground. I hear her screams, "HELP!"

She runs to the middle of the highway, screaming. Zombies limp toward Muna. A zombie grabs her. She screams louder and tries to pry the zombie off of her. It bites into her arm. She looks into my eyes, pleading for help. I fight the guilt. Her stare is agonizing. I want to save her, but can't. She is going to turn into one of those creatures. Zombies form a crowd around her. She screeches for help. Jocelyn looks at me, "What do we do?"

I shrug, "We can't save her now, she's already bit."

Jocelyn's eyes light up, "Just shoot the zombies and we'll handle Muna along the way."

I nod. I aim my gun, using the sights. The zombie trying to take another bite at her. It's difficult to aim for its head since its far away and my glasses don't help much with my crappy vision. I hear Jocelyn pull her trigger. I follow suit and pull mine. The sound echoes in the distance and in my head. The zombies blood explodes everywhere.

When all the zombies are lying lifelessly on the ground, Jocelyn and I slowly climb back down into the bus. Darleena seems amazed or shocked because she is blankly staring out the window. "Darleena, come with us to say our goodbyes to Muna." Jocelyn says.

Darleena nods then stands up. Darleena opens the door. We hop out, Nathan just on my tail. Muna is now slumped against the highways railing. Her eyelids are heavy. I crouch down beside her. Her pupils keep changing sizes. Her tan skin is turning paler and paler by the second. I place a hand on her cheek. Her eyes close. "Muna, we're birthday twins and we stuck together. You need to remember that one day, we'll be together again." I tear rolls down my cheek. I laugh, "Your ego made me laugh at times. Your attitude towards people was so different. We have so much in common, but I think this will be better for you."

Her hand wipes my cheek. Her skin is ice cold. I step back then Jocelyn takes her turn. "Although I didn't know you well, you seemed like a good person. We didn't get to talk very much and then here I am with you. Sorry, Muna."
