I was sitting in the town square when someone sat next to me and said" hello again, Aislinn" causing my eyes to widen in shock before I hugged the person.
" Elijah" I cried and he chuckled.
" I thought Klaus daggered you " I said and he sighed" Damon undaggered me, and Niklaus told me everything, if I had known what your blood could do, I-"
" It's fine Elijah, I'm alright. Though I don't really understand most of it, it doesn't really bother me, I'm still me." I smiled before he placed something on my lap causing me to frown." What is it" I asked.
" An invitation to a ball my mother is hosting to celebrate my family reuniting""
" Will you read it?" I asked and he took it.
" Please join the Mikealson family, this evening at 7:00, for cocktails, dancing and celebration"
" Why would you want to invite me?" I asked.
" Why not, the only thing you'll have to worry about is Kol, which I can handle, and my mother"
" I guess I could go, but I'll have to find myself a dress"

" Thank you, Elijah" I smiled before he led me in the direction of where everyone else was." Will you be alright if I left you for a moment" he asked and I rolled my eyes.
" I'm blind, not helpless" I said and I felt him let go. I heard someone approach me and frowned before I heard Klaus say." I'm suprised you even agreed"
" Didn't have anything better to do, and I thought it would be fun"
" How is your wrist?" He asked and I shrugged." Its alright, I guess".
I heard Elijah come back but he let out sigh at Klaus's presence." Niklaus" he seemed to warn and I frowned." He's fine Elijah, we were just talking."
" Well, I'm pleased you could come Aislinn, save me a dance won't you" he asked and I nodded before I heard him walk away." Such an odd little thing you are" Elijah commented and I laughed." At least my life isn't boring".
" Champagne?" Elijah asked and I shook my head." No thanks, I don't drink that much"
He led me further into the crowd before he let go." My mother asked me to speak for the family."
" Not going anywhere" I sighed after he disappeared. Elijah gave a speech before I felt him take my hand again." Would you like to dance?" he asked and I nodded. We stepped on to the dance floor and I sighed following the sound of his footsteps and movements, along those of the people around me." Why did you really invite me Elijah?" I asked.
" Does there have to b a reason?" he asked and I made a face." My brother killed your family, nearly killed your adoptive father and yet you choose to forgive him, why?" he asked answering my question with another question." Because through bad things he did, there were also good things" I told him as he spun me.
" He may have killed my parents and left me permanently blind, but he also saved my life and gave me a chance to grow up normally, well as normal as you can in a world filled with vampires, witches and werewolves. He may have almost killed my adoptive father, but in the end I know to forgive, Elijah. It's not like I can do anything about who I am and what's the use of holding it against him, when tries to make up for it. I have been at death's door over and over again Elijah, I don't want anyone thinking they have to feel guilty about anything they've done, at least nothing I can change."
" I have to send you away now, but you must realize that my brother never lets anything go unless it was him who was at fault." He spun me and a moment later, I had joined hands with someone else." So your the little thing I heard Klaus and Elijah arguing about earlier, I'm Kol by the way"

" I heard somewhere that it also means 'dream'" I countered and he laughed" I can see why Elijah and Nik like you" The song ended and he stepped away from me before kissing the back of my hand." It was nice meeting you, Linn." Elijah appeared and led me away." Your brother, Kol is defiantly strange one"
" He can be....stuck up, but in the end he can be quite useful when it comes to the knowledge of magic"
" I can tell" I mumbled frowning as I felt the cold wind on my shoulders, causing me to shiver." I'll be right back" he told me and I nodded before I heard him walk away. I sighed before leaning against the railing and closing my eyes, listening passed the sound of people talking and the music, I heard crickets and the sound of the wind in the trees nearby, I heard footsteps and frowned turning toward them only to have them stop." Who's there?" I asked but no one answered causing me to sigh before I turned back to the railing. " Izzy, look out" a voice cried before I felt my feet leave the ground and death took me once again.
Third person POV
Gasps filled the air as a thud was heard outside, and everyone turned to see a girl in a ball gown on the ground, her neck snapped. Elijah ran over to her and felt for a pulse but found none, causing his eyes widen in horror." Aislinn" Klaus muttered when he saw what was going on, suddenly Kol fell from the balcony and Damon followed before snapping his neck. He looked over at Aislinn, before walking over and whispering something to Elijah who frowned but nodded picking her up.
" Everything's alright, she's fine, she just fainted" he assured before carrying her inside, while also sending a thankful glance at the necklace around her neck.
