" Come on, Aislinn, this is the best night of your life." Caroline cried." And I did not search every school database on this side of the country to have you mope all night in your room, you are going."
" I've had enough parties to know that I'm not party safe, during the last one I was pushed off of a balcony. I'm not going"
" You say that as if it hasn't happened before."
" She's right." I heard Klaus say as he pushed the door open and I let out a growl before pulling the pillow over my face." Not you too" I grumbled.
" You can't spend your whole life afraid of having fun." Caroline said and I rolled my eyes. " If it makes you stop bothering me, I'll go but the next one I get to miss out on."
Once Caroline was gone, I threw the pillow toward the door and froze when I heard it hit something that wasn't the door or a wall, it hit a body." If this is what I get for not coming home for several months, I think I'm going to need a warning system." Someone told me and I grinned.
" Sorry, I didn't know you were there."
" I overheard your conversation with Miss Forbes, to what party might I ask are you going to?"
" Prom." I said in disgust and he chuckled before I made my way over to my closet.
" Do you require any help?" Elijah asked and I sighed. " There's a dress in here I had planned on wearing to the Miss Mystic Falls Pageant, I guess it's a good thing I didn't go to that."
" Why didn't you?" He questioned walking over to help me and I shrugged. " I had a bad feeling about it, and the night before, I just...I had a dream, or vision, or something. It kind of ruined the feeling of it, I guess." I sighed before pulling the dress out.
" It's beautiful." He told me as I set it down for later but before I could say anything in response, he took my hand." You should see it."
Realizing what he was going to do, I moved away and shook my head." No, I know how that works. It's a two way street, and I don't want anyone in my head right now."
" I understand." He told me before I heard him walk and after a second I turned back toward the dress with a frown.
'What is this feeling?' I thought to myself before I shook it off and started getting ready for Prom.
Several hours later, I walked downstairs with a disgusted look on my face. " Cheer up, love, your a senior now."

" You had to side with Caroline, didn't you?" I questioned and I heard him laugh before the clicking of heels sounded." Come on, Izzy, we don't want to be late."
" I'm coming, I'm coming" I grumbled before following after her with a hidden smile on my face.

As Aislinn passed him, Elijah watched her go but said nothing to her. Once she was gone, Klaus smirked at the look on his brother's face; a look he had seen may times before." The beauty and grace of a goddess, any man would be lucky to win her heart."
" She's not a prize to be won Niklaus, she's just a girl who was born into a terrible world, a world that took her and tore away who she supposed to be." Elijah said with a sigh and Klaus smirked. " She's not Katerina, or Tatia, Elijah."
" I never said she was" Elijah turned to look at his brother with a frown." But she is different."
" I have watched her live with her held high from the time was 2 years old, she has faced one heartbreak after another, lost more then we will ever know and through it all she has shown what it truly means to be human. If you love her, then tell her before it's to late." Klaus said before walking away and Elijah watched him go with a frown.
