We follow the trail till it stops in a dead end area.
"Guys..." Minho says, pointing in front of him. He found the the power board!
I smile and look back to Thomas only to find him nearby, looking through a wire fence covered with flowers and toys.
"Thomas?" I say quietly and he looks over slightly panicked.
"Minho....Minho don't turn on the power. I think it was shut off for a very good reason, Minho do not pull that switch!" He calls out.
A loud clanking of metal echoes through the empty building. Thomas and I turn to look at Minho who is now smiling sheepishly.
He pulled it.
"Minho...what did I just say?" Thomas asks, sighing.
"Don't pull that switch" Minho grumbles.
"And what did you just do?" Thomas asks, tilting his head slightly.
"I pulled it" Minho replies quietly and Thomas' groans...and then groans again louder....wait...no..that...that was not Thomas.
"WHAT THE SHUCK IS THAT?!" Minho screams as a groaning and screeching figure launches out of the shadows, attracted by the light and loud noise.
My eyes widen in fear and Thomas grips my hand tightly. It...it's human...but at the same time it isn't.
Black veins cover it's face and any exposed skin I can see. It's eyes are glazed over, no emotion showing at all. It looks horrid and it appears to want to eat us.
"Youuu. Good meal for Jerryyyy yessss" it croaks out in a voice that will definitely narrate my nightmares from now on.
"SHIT RUN!! RUN DAMN IT!!! RUN!!" Thomas screams and no one hesitates. Minho takes off, Thomas and I right behind him as more of the creatures emerge and start to follow after us.
My feet pound on the concrete floor and I hold onto Thomas' hand so tight the poor guy is probably losing circulation in it. But he doesn't seem to care much about that at the moment seeing as we are currently running for our lives from I don't even know what.
We reach the meeting point and find everyone else already there.
"RUN!! RUUUUNNNN!!!" I shout, not stopping for a second.
"What are you o-OH WHAT THE SHUCK?!" Newt yells and then quickly starts running too.
"THOMAS! MINHO! Y/N!! WHAT THE KLUNK ARE THOSE?!" He asks, catching up to us along with everyone else.
"I DONT KNOW YA SHANK! DIDNT STICK AROUND LONG ENOUGH TO ASK EM AFTER ONE SAID WE WOULD BE A GOOD MEAL!!" Minho shouts back at him.
I glance back and instantly wish I hadn't.
"GUYYYS! THEYRE GETTING CLOSER!!"
