The Mysterious Death Of Zoya

SCENE 2 - THE INVESTIGATION

It's the next day's morning when the murder site turns into a crime scene. The Police arrive and begin their investigation. The case was assigned to Officer Rane - a crime specialist. He arrives at the crime scene.

Sub-ordinate Vivek: "Good Morning Sir."

Rane: "What the hell happened here?"

Vivek: "Sir, it was a college picnic. The girl was one of them. Her name is Zoya. There was a party last night and she was missing for a long time, so her friends started searching for her and found her dead here.

Rane: "Any piece of evidence?"

Vivek: "We found a knife at a distance and out of all the students, five of them are very close to her.

Rane: "Where are they?" The sub-ordinate points his finger to a group of people who seemed to be utterly grieved for their loss.
Rane walks up to the students.
"Hello. I'm very sorry for your loss. By the way, I'm Officer Rane investigating this case and you guys are?"

One guy walks up and says "Hello Sir. I'm Rohan. They are Peter, Rhea, Deepika and Manoj" while pointing at them.

Rane to friends: "Any idea who could have done this? Any enemies? Someone who didn't like her?"

Rhea replies: "No sir. She was very nice to everyone. We didn't expect that this would happen to her (sobs)."

Rane: "Has anyone informed her family?"

Rohan replies: "Sir, she doesn't have a family. Her mother recently passed away. She doesn't have her father. We brought her here to lighten her mood but instead, this happened."

Rane: "Okay. You guys please stay in touch with us and please co-operate until we find the culprit. Have a good day."

After a few hours, the results at the Forensic lab turn out to be mind boggling. Rane rushes at the call of the Doctor.

Rane: "What happened Doctor? Why did you call me urgently?"

Doctor: Well, we found some finger prints on the knife and we also found a match to them. The result is mind boggling!"

Rane: "Whose finger prints are they?!"

Doctor: "They are Zoya's!!"
