I MISS YOU

Chapter One

"Ashton, are you all right? " I.asked, clinging to his arm. He looked at me, giving me a nervous smile. "I'm fine Meg, just.... thinking." He said, his eyes wandering above the tree tops gazing at the edge of an old bridge. I nodded, deciding to agree with what was an obvious lie.

"So, were should we set up the tent?" I asked, trying to change the subject. He looked around us, then stopped. "Here is nice." He said, dropping his bag. I smiled andb set the tent down, I'll get on it after I go for a swim.

"Wanna go for a swim real quick? " I asked, bringing his face down to mine. He smirked at me, his eyes staring deep in mine. "ok." I laughed and threw my shirt off. I was already wearing a bakini beneath my clothes. Ashton quickly took off his shirt and began running to the lake.

"Jerk! " I called, tugging off my jeans before running after him Into the water. He laughed and splashed water into my face.

"Run."

"What?" I asked, looking at Ashton confused. Did he just tell me to run. He returned my confused look. I looked around. "Ashton, did you say run?" I asked, he was probably about to tackle me in the water or something.

He laughed at me as if I sounded ridiculous. "What would make you think that? " He asked, and there was a sudden yank at my ankle. I quickly looked down and saw a pale bony hand wrapped sound my ankle. I let out a shriek, running out of the water. Ashton looked at me clueless.

"Did you see that? " I asked, rubbing my eyes. Had I just imagined it? No way. Ashton gave me that

"Your Crazy" look and got out of the water to my side. "Babe, are you Albright? " He asked, wrapping his arms around my waist. I took in a deep breath and leaned my head onto his shoulder. "I..Fine, I'm fine. " I said, trying to get the words straight. "Lets go back. " I said, as he nodded his head in agreement.
