~ Zayn's POV ~
Arriving in front of Arianna's apartment, I breathed deeply before jumping out of the car. I was rethinking myself before I opened my mouth. Sometimes when I find out something and I tell, it never ends good for me, or the person that listens. But this was a more serious matter, and this was something that could help Arianna, and she needed to know. She had been living a lie for such a long time from this boy, and it was time she knew the truth.
I couldn't bear her any longer when she would cry over him and think about him, and worst, she was still waiting for him to come back. But with the photos I just saw, I had a feeling he wasn't coming back anymore. He already loved someone and he went back to her. Leaving Arianna to cry for him and think he was coming back.
Yes, I thought, I will tell her. It would be wrong for me to keep this to myself. She needed to know. I shouldn't even be hesitating about this. So I didn't anymore, and I jumped out of the car, and ran up her steps. Approaching the door, it opened before I could even knock.
"H-hey! Arie, did you know I was here?" I asked through a nervous smile.
I looked up at her, stunned by how beautiful she looked even when she looked like she had just jumped out of bed. Her hair was in a tangled mess, and her eyes were a bit smaller. She had been sleeping, I could tell with that slight change in her expression.
"Yeah, I got up and looked out the window. I guess I was watching for something." She lost her smile.
She was watching for Niall. She probably looked out there every second, waiting for him to come back to her.
"Listen, Arie.. I have to tell you something," I finally spoke.
She looked at me worried, sensing that it wasn't going to be anything good. She opened the door wider and stepped aside, waiting for me to walk in.
"Wait, come in first, and then you can tell me what you need to say." She said.
I nodded in response, and went in, following behind her. She sat on a chair in the living room, and I sat on the sofa just across from her. She peered at me patiently, waiting for me to speak again.
"I don't think you're going to like what I'm about to say, and you probably don't want to hear it, but please listen to me, okay?" I asked, holding my hands together and resting them on my lap.
She furrowed her eyebrows, her expression worried. She had no idea what I was going to tell her.
"Niall, that boy.." I started, and suddenly her expression changed slightly, as if saying his name brought spirits back into her.
"You know how I asked you about him yesterday? And you told me his last name and everything?" I continued.
She nodded, the corner of her lips rising a little, almost a smile. I wished she wasn't though, this was making me feel bad already.
"I went home.. And I- I researched him, I mean, I looked him up on the Internet, and I found out more things about him."
"Wait.. You googled his name and it told you information about him?" She was almost shocked. Was she mad that I did? "You're telling me that while he was here, I, myself, could have researched him and found where he belongs to a long time ago?"
"Yeah, but that's besides the point," I interrupted.
"Dang it! I really should've been thinking more back then. I should've looked him up the first day he was here and he could've went back home then and I wouldn't have fallen in-" she stopped herself before finishing.
Her eyes were turning watery, and I wanted to go over to her and hug her tightly, but I was in no place to. I hated seeing her like this, having to sit back and watch her torture herself.
