Chapter 11: Best Friend Chat

I woke up the next morning around noon.

I needed to talk to Lindsey.

I dialed her number and she answered on the first ring.

"I need your advice" I said, almost yelling.

She laughed. "Shoot"

"Well I have a I guess date tonight with Steven, but as friends. And I lied to Jackson about it."

"Well go on the "date" with Steven. That's once in a lifetime and you've been wanting this forever. But don't do anything to fuck up the relationship with Jackson. If you really do like him. If not, don't fuck with his feelings. I think to be honest Hannah, it's gonna be a crazy ride." Lindsey took a breath.

I sighed. "You're right dear. But now there's an important question: what should I wear?"

Lindsey chuckled. "Something sexy baby"

I laughed. "I'll make sure of that...talk to you when it's over to give you details!"

"Okay Hannah bye girl!"

We hung up.

About 6 hours later I was getting ready. I had chosen to wear a purple, glitter dress with black spike heels. I blew out my hair in perfect waves and smoked my eyes and blackened my lashes.

I looked like a sex kitten yet again. Lindsey was right.

After I finished up, grabbing my purse and phone, I walked downstairs to where my parents were sitting in the living room. It was now 15 minutes until Steven was going to pick me up.

I walked in front of the TV they were watching and spun once.

"How do I look?" I asked my parents.

"Beautiful dear" they said in unison, smiling.

I smiled back. "Thank you very much. Steven will be here soon. Any advice?"

My mom chuckled. "Control yourself. You have a boyfriend still Hannah."

I laughed and purred at my mom. "This girl can't be tamed."

My mom rose her eyebrow.

"Just kidding." I replied.

Just then the doorbell rang.

"Bloody hell he's here!" I exclaimed, getting nervous then.

My mom laughed at me. "Get the door untameable Hannah!"

I rolled my eyes at her and took a deep breath.

I started walking to the front door to open it. Here goes nothing.
