Chapter 25: Day Before Leaving

About a month later
I woke up and turned over to look at Steven's sleeping body. Well, I thought he was sleeping. His smiling face made me giggle.
"I thought you were sleeping!! I wanted to scare you!" I pouted playfully.
He kissed my nose. "Never gonna happen baby I'm unscareable!" He winked.
I laughed. "Are you hungry?"
"Hell yeah babe lets order breakfast"
Before he could say another word, I was up and running to beat him to the phone so I could order first.
I got there.
I picked up the phone and started to dial.
"Hello I would like to order room service--"
I didn't get to finish because I was being tickled by Steven. Quite hard. I burst out laughing, not being able to hold it in.
"Steven stop!" I screamed.
"Hello?" The concierge asked through the phone.
I was laughing so hard that I was crying. I looked at Steven with pleading eyes. He stopped to let me catch my breath. He grabbed the phone.
"Just bring up everything" Steven replied before hanging up.
I took a couple breaths and chuckled.
"They probably think I was dying for fucks sake Steven!!" I said.
He smiled, wrapping his arms around my waist, as he sat down next to me.
"So, were leaving tomorrow..are you sure you're ready to pick up everything and move to LA?"
I sighed, thinking. "Yeah, I mean, of course! I want to be with you but I'm gonna miss my parents, even though they hate me right now. And Lindsey, that girl's my best friend, and saying goodbye to her tomorrow morning is gonna be rough."
Steven caressed my cheek and I let out a heavy breath to keep from crying.
When I told Lindsey that I was moving, and transferring schools, she wasn't happy. She was happy for me that I was moving on with my life, but upset to be losing her best friend across the country. We've been best friends for 9 years, we had so many memories, so it was gonna be hard. But we were gonna talk everyday if possible, and she was coming out whenever I wanted her to.
The distance was gonna be hard. I already know.
Steven noticed me thinking.
"Everything will be okay beautiful. I'll bring her out here for you whenever you feel homesick. Your parents too. If you want..." He looked at me questioningly.
I forced a small smile. "If they ever forgive me for following my heart.."
Steven pulled me closer and kissed me hard.
"They will. You're their daughter."
I sighed again.
"Baby!!! Get amped, LA is gorgeous and were gonna have a ball out there! You're joining me on the tail of a comet sugar, can you keep up?" He smiled flirtatiously.
I bit my lip sexily in return. "I guess we'll see babe."
