Chapter 40: The Big Day

1 month later

"Wake up baby.." I heard Steven whisper in my ear.
I opened my eyes and was met with Steven's beautiful brown eyes and a smile.
I put my arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. I looked at the clock. It read 3:00 pm.
"Why are you waking me up darling?" I asked as we pulled away.
"Sugar you forget things easily" Steven smirked at me.
I pouted. "Shut up"
"Joe and Lindsey's wedding is tonight." Steven laughed.
"Ohhhh yeah!!! I forgot..damn I have to call Lindsey! What time do I have to be with her?!?"
I smacked Stevens arm accidentally.
He laughed and rubbed his arm. "Relax baby, shit, just call her!!"
I rolled my eyes and stuck out my tongue at Steven before I rolled out of bed and grabbed my phone.
"Lindsey!!!" I almost yelled when she answered.
I heard her laughing on the other end.
"At 4 o clock, Hannah. Be at the house then! Then we'll get ready then drive over to the church. Okay?"
I sighed. "Okay okay. See you soon!"
I hung up and Steven smirked at me.
"Are you good now?" He asked.
I kissed his nose. "Yes I am! I have to get ready, see you in 3 hours!!"

After I showered and dressed, I got into my car and drove over to the house.
I walked inside and it was crazy.
There were clothes everywhere, and it was hard to walk through upstairs.
"Lindsey?!" I called out.
"In here Hannah!!" I heard her say from her bedroom.
I walked to the door and opened it.
Lindsey was rushing around, while there were a stylist and makeup artist trying to calm her down.
Her two sisters, Danielle and Lauren, who were also her bridesmaids, were trying to help as well.
I laughed lightly, and walked inside, shutting the door.
"Lindsey calm down geez." She turned to face me and laughed.
"Thank god you're here. Can you get ready? Here's your maid of honor dress.." She said, handing me the bag.
I waved at her sisters, who waved back, as I made my way into the bathroom.

About 20 mins later, I came out of the bathroom all ready, and Lindsey was ready too.
Her dress was long and sensual, with a slit up the side, and a one shoulder beaded bodice.
Her hair was curled into a Marilyn Monroe style, and her makeup finished it off with liquid eyeliner, mascara, and red lipstick.
I walked up to her and smiled, tears forming in my eyes.
"You look beautiful, Lindsey." I said, hugging her.
She smiled and hugged me back. "Thanks Hannah. You look beautiful too."
I smirked. "But not as beautiful as you."
I grabbed my phone out of my small clutch and looked at the time.
5:45pm.
"Linds, we should go. Doesn't the wedding start at 6?"
She looked at me her mouth open. "Yeah, lets get moving!" She replied.
We grabbed everything and made our way out of the house.
As we got in the limo, and drove off, I grabbed Lindsey's hand in support. It was like telepathy. I knew she was nervous, and I was going to be there.
"You ready?" I asked her.
"Ready as I'll ever be." She replied.
