"Lately Robin's take on crime has been more violent."Batman started, glancing up at the hologram figure in the debriefing room.

Wally's heart sank to his stomach when he heard this. At first he thought the other was joking about all of this and he just needed to blow off some steam... but it looks like Robin truly was telling the truth because he was a villain. All because he did not go with him that day. Wally clenched his fists. Dick was being stupid! Of course he would have chosen the team! This was not his fault at all!

"Kid Flash." Batman barked at, not liking how the speedster seemed to be in his own little world while he was telling the team their next mission. Matter of factly, whenever Batman mentioned the villain, the team seemed to tense. His eyes narrowed as he watched the rest of the teens shift uneasy glaces towards the speedster. He must have been the cause of the team's lack of focus. "If there is information you are withholding, I suggest you speak now." The Caped Crusader scowled, his glare making the redhead flinch more.

"I- uh..." Wally gulped a bit. What was he supposed to say? 'Hey bats. I was secretly best friends with this threat and the only reason he is being like this is because he is throwing a temper tantrum about me not choosing to stay at his side.' Yeah, that would go well. "Dick is not a bad guy..." He mutters.

"Dick?" Batman questioned coldly.

"Yes. His name is Dick" Wally felt horrible for revealing his once friend's identity, but this needed to stop before someone really got hurt. His priority was his team and civilians' safety."He...He is just confused." Yet here he was..once again standing up for him, in front of the world's scariest hero as well. Maybe the league can help...if things would just go back to normal--

"So you are saying that you made contact with Robin." It was not a question, in fact the bat's sharpness was evident and his anger was rising. He gave direct orders to report seeing Robin, and then to find out that one of the ones he thought was on their side was harboring and hiding him. He folded his arms as he listened to Wallace West try to explain himself and how that the one known as dick was not as bad of a person as he was meant to be, that is until recently. "Do you know of his last name?" Batman frowned, perhaps he could locate the child and end this quickly.

"U-Uh..no...he just said it was Dick...I do think he lives in Gotham though...we used to meet their all the time-- as a civilian of course! I was not in your city doing hero work!" Wally quickly added, raising his arms up in surrender.

Batman was about to make comment on that but then a news alert cut them off and he quickly went to the computer and pulled up the screen for the rest of the team in the middle. There was a bank robbery in progress, and the culprit; Robin.

Wally's eyes widened as he listened to the news lady talking about how there were fifteen hostages and that how Robin has received the money he wanted, yet still refuses to let any of them go. He didn't even break the security cameras, instead he would actually wave to them and cackle. This was not like Robin at all! Robin was smart, if he wanted to rob a bank, he would have hacked it and done it electronically, what was he thinking!? Unless- he wanted the others to see this, he wanted the justice league to come..that's why he stayed put and kept the hostages instead of running. He stood there and watched in horror as the other blatantly kicked a women in the face who was crying, telling her to shut up before returning to the camera.

"To all you pathetic do gooders out there." The boy called out, putting a hand on his hip. "You better hurry before I get bored. Don't want your precious little civilians to take the fall for you now do we." He sat on a pile of money, humming an awfully chipper tune. "It's not looking too asterous for them in the near future. Better show up QUICK" He grinned darkly.

Wally flinched again at the vice in Robin's words. Quick...he was talking about him. "Batman... I started this... I need to end it." What made Wally speak up to the Dark Knight like that, he would never know. His adrenaline was fire in his veins and before he could let any others put in their say, Wally was off, running towards the bank.

-------

"It's about time you showed up. I was beginning to worry you had already forgotten about me." Dich grinned pulling out a gun and the hostages screamed. "Oh shut up!" Dick rolled his eyes, finally shooting out the cameras in the bank before returning the gun to its holster. "All you can go, I won't stop you." He started walking towards the door to the bank, eying the speedster cautiously before opening the doors, however, the hostages stood there frozen in fear. "For the love of-- KF.. get them out of here before I change my mind."

Wally did not have to be told twice, he quickly started to grab hostages and take them out of the bank, by the last one he glanced up at the police force surrounding the bank, guns raised now that the hostages were out. He did not think about that! Now that there was no leverage, they had no reason not to bring the other in and shoot him if he resists. Which Wally knew for a fact, the other was definitely going to resist. He quickly sped back into the bank, grabbing the other by his costume. "What were you thinking!?" He hissed, glancing around to see if there was anyone else around.

"What do you think?" Dick smirked. "IT was the only way to get your attention"

"This is not how you get other's attention! I vouched for you Rob, and here you are robbing a bank!" Wally's voice rose. This was madness, this whole situation was madness. "We need to get out of here..if you get caught--"

"Please, I never get caught." Dick cackled a bit before slapping the other's hand away. Besides. Saving me would make you an accomplice. Are you going to give up the hero gig for me?" Dick held a bit of hope in his words, but he knew that the other would once again decline his offer. Besides, it was not like he meant anything to the other, he was just another bad guy that he would put behind bars if he had the chance. "Now I better get what is off my chest before the rest of your 'friends' come and ruin the moment." Dick rolled his eyes before getting something out of his utility belt. "Something big is about to go down..and I mean disastrous big..heavy on the dis."

"What are you talking about!?" Wally asked at the other's complete 180. One second he was playing full on bad guy, the next he his acting concerned. The joker had more consistency than this kid.

"Will you shut up Kid mouth and let me finish?" Robin scowled, holding out a flash drive, grabbing the other's arm before he could protest. "The world very much might be ending, try not to get yourself killed. That is my job." Dick placed the flash drive in the other's hand before letting go of Wally's arm. "As much as I would love to see you and your so called friend's perish..I would like to have it be at my hand." He pulled out a remote control before picking up a bag of money, leaving the rest behind.

"Where are you going?" Wally demanded taking another step forward before he felt the floor rumble beneath his feet.

"What does it look like? I'm leaving.Bad guys always have the dramatic exits." Dick hummed cheerfully "I suggest you go before you are flattened by the rubble. Send your team my regards, because the next time we meet, I will kill them. And that is a fact." Robin pressed the button on the remote and the whole bank began to quake, the ceiling crumbling and sound after sound of explosives echoing from under their feet. Wally cursed, knowing robin must have rigged up explosives in the basement he sped out of the building, just as the foundation began to crumble and give in to its own weight. He stared at the now large pile of rubble and then at the flash drive in his hands... What did Dick get himself into? More importantly...what did he get himself into?
