The Adventures of Yulia and Lena: The Experiment

Part 4

Yulia sighs and sits back in her seat. Annie just sits in the back seat still sleeping soundly.

"Yulia which exit should I take? The I-119 or the I-117?" Lena asked.

Yulia had passed out in the passenger seat. Lena nudges her to wake her up.

"What? Where are we?" She asked waking up.

"We're at a pit stop." She says softly.

"Why are we here?" Yulia asked her confused.

Lena stares at her and then shakes her head.

"I needed to know what exit to take. The I-119 or the I-117?" She says softly.

"Oh sorry. I fell asleep after we left sonic." She apologizes.

"You're fine. But what exit should I take?" Lena asks curiously.

"Take the I-117. That should take us to Michigan." Yulia states as she looks at the road map they picked up.

Lena pulls out of the pit stop and pulls onto exit I-117. Headed towards Michigan.

"Mommy?" Annie says waking up.

"Yes sweetheart." Lena says.

"Where are we going?" She questions yawning.

Lena smiles and looks into to rear view mirror.

"Don't worry sweetie. We're on our way to Michigan." Lena says smiling and then looks at Yulia.

Anne looks to the floor. And frowns.

"That is where my birth mommy was born.." Annie says sadly.

"No need to be sad sweetie. You have a new family now. You have Yulia and I now. We won't ever leave you behind right love?"

Yulia looks at Lena and smiles.

"Right."

Alright. There's one update for the night. The next one will come soon. I just found my notebook with the story in it. But it looks like there will only be one update left til I reach the end of what I wrote so I'll need ideas.
