The Adventures of Yulia and Lena: The Experiment

This is where we left off last time we saw Lena and Yulia. Quick re-cap. Lena and Yulia go to a shelter and the cops show up they now have to get out of there before they get caught.

"You wanna know what we do we run. Thats what we do." Yulia stated.

"We run from the cops?" Lena looked puzzled. She had never had to run from the police before.

"Yes. We reach the train station we buy (2) 1-way tickets to Boston." Yulia was now gathering the belongings she had.

"Why Boston? Why not Maryland?" Lena questions now pacing the room.

"2 reasons. Reason number 1, Maryland sucks. Reason number 2, I have always wanted to go to Boston." Yulia calmly said so Lena would stop pacing.

"Oh. Well we'd better go if we are going to get out of here before they catch us." Lena finicked. She was scared. but she wasn't going to admit it.

"Yeah. Grab your stuff and lets go. I don't wanna spend my next 3 months being someones prison bitch." Yulia excliamed.

"3 months!!!" Lena cried.

"Only if we get caught." Yulia said going out the back door.

After they get get out of the shelter, they run through the wooded area, past their blown up house, past the BP gas station, to the railroad. There they waited for the train.

"What do we do when we get to Boston?" Lena curiously questioned.

" We find a shelter to live in there. And we work and make money so that we can buy a house." Yulia told her.

As they wait for the train a little girl came up to them.

"Can you help me? My family dropped me here and left." She asked.

Lena talks to Yulia on the side.

"Would you like a new family?" Lena asked.

She nodded her head. She then walked over to Yulia and hugged her.

"Whats your name hun?" Yulia questioned.

"I'm Annie. I'm 4." Annie stated.

"Wow you're a big girl. You can call me mommy."  Lena said to her.

"And i will be your mommy too." Yulia said looking at her

" I have 2 mommies?" Annie said

"Yes"Lena told her

"Momma?" Annie asked

"Yes?" Yulia and Lena both answerd

Annie giggled and smiled. The train pulls up and lena picks annie up and carries her on. They sit down in a booth Annie sits on Lenas lap

2 hours later Yulia looks over at Lena to see that Lena and Annie are cuddled up sleeping. Yulia grabs a blanket from the storage area above their heads and coverd them up. Yulia then lays down on the one across from Lena and Annie. She slowly drifts off to sleep.

                                                                           3 hours later

Yulia wakes up to find that they are not in boston. but they are in New York.

"Lena get up! we got on the wrong train!"

Lena gently moves Annie to not wake her.

"What do you mean the wrong train?" Lena questioned 

"Just look outside." Yulia said pointing

Yulia was pointing at the statue of liberty.

"Shit! now what?" Lena stammered 

" We get off here. just this isnt our train, we can live here." Yulia stated

Lena gently picks Annie up and carries her off. They start walking and find car dealership.

"Just follow my lead." Yulia said to lena

" Hi my wife and I are looking to buy a car."

" What kind of car are you looking for?" The woman behind the counter asked.

"Something safe for our 4 year old daughter Annie. Maybe a DVD player for her to put in her favorite movie." Yulia said.

"Right this way miss." The lady takes them down the hall.

"Yulia, are you sure you know what you're doing?" Lena questioned. 

" Like i said, follow my lead." Yulia whispers. 

" How about this one?" The lady asked.

" Darling, its perfect. I love it" Lena stated.

" It's perfect. we'll take it." Yulia said.

" Here are the keys. sign here and your good to go." The lady said handing Yulia a clipboard.

Yulia signs it and hands it back. The lady gives Yulia the car keys and hen walks away.

" See that wasn't so hard, now was it?" Yulia asked Lena.

"Not really no." Lena said buckling Annie into the seat.

Yulia goes to get into the drivers seat.

" No way am I letting you drive." Lena stated.

"Fine." Yulia hands Lena the keys and scoots over to the passenger seat.

" Lena, where are we going? Manhattan is south." Yulia asked.

" I dont know. Anywhere but here. i dont like New York that much." Lena stated.
