A few months go by as Lena, Yulia, and Annie get settled into their new place. Lena is looking for a job and Yulia is preparing Annie for preschool next month.

Lena comes home from an interview and sits down.

"So the lady said she'll call me by next Monday with her final decision." Lena finally says breaking the silence in the room.

"That's amazing baby. I've got all the papers filled out in order for Annie to start preschool. She's excited." Yulia replies pointing at Annie as she starts singing the ABC's and writing her name.

Lena gets up off the couch and goes into the kitchen.

"What do you want for dinner?" Lena shouts.

Yulia gets up and walks into the kitchen as well.

"How 'bout we have the fried chicken I love so much?" Yulia says softly.

Annie comes bouncing in. She looks at both Lena and Yulia.

"So what's for dinner?" She asks tugging on Lenas pants.

"Well we're going to have my famous fried chicken tonight." Lena replies smiling.

"Yummy!" Annie says running off.

Yulia smiles and hugs Lena.

"So does this mean you've forgiven me for blowing up our house?" Yulia asks giggling just a little.

"Oh no ya don't. Just cause we've got a new house and Annie doesn't mean you're off the hook yet." Lena says smirking.

"What are you saying?" Yulia asks.

Lena twirls the dish towel and whips Yulias leg with it and laughs.

"You're in trouble Yulia Volkova." Lena says laughing.

"Ooh I'm so scared." Yulia says mocking Lena.

"As you should be." Lena says smirking.

As they start play fighting there's a knock at the door.

"Just a minute." Lena says.

Yulia gets a little frightened.

"Be careful when you open that door Lena." Yulia says.

Lena walks to the door and unlocks it opening it.

"Can I help you?" Lena asks.

A rather young woman stands there fiddling with her fingers.

"Yes. I'm actually looking for my little girl Annie." She says.

Lena stands there in shock as Yulia runs to Annies room and sits down with her.

Lena bites her tongue for a second

"You do realize that the moment you and her father left her at the train station and never came back was the moment you lost the right to call her your little girl." Lena states.

Okay that was the next part. I hope you guys enjoyed this twist of events. The idea of the birth mom coming back is all thanks to Creative-arts1999. She gave me the idea and it solved my writers block. There shall be a new update soon.
