I am not a girl
Who is classically beautiful
Who is tan and blonde and blue eyed
Or thin and perfect and symmetrical
I am not a girl
Who is classically beautiful
For I believe in standing for what is right
Not sitting and waiting and watching
I am not a girl
Who is clasically beautiful
For I am not content in the life I live
I want to be out
I am not a girl
Who is clasically beautiful
For I do not conform to society
Or it's wishes or ideals
I am not a girl
Who is clasically beautiful
For I am dark haired and pale skinned
And dark eyed and freckled and blemished
I am not a girl
Who is clasically beautiful
For I don't want to be any of those things
I do not want to fit society
I am not a girl
Who is classically beautiful
For I don't fit society
I make my own image
I am not a girl
Who is classically beautiful
For I am passionate
And I care too much
I am not a girl
Who is classically beautiful
For I read too much
And I don't have perfect grades
And I don't have the perfect hair
Or teeth
Or skin
Or make up
Or body
I am not a girl
Who is classically beautiful
For I don't care that I am not
All I know is that I'm beautiful
