taehyung later pulled out his wallet until he found a picture and held it in his hands.
"these are my parents," he smiled absentmindedly. it was a picture with a boy in the middle, holding a huge fish in his right hand, and a man and a woman on either side of him.
"that's me at the center," he pointed the boy in the middle, his other arm was resting on his mom's shoulders as she was hugging his waist. her father stood there with a wide smile plastered on his face, it was one of the greatest smile i have ever seen. they looked really happy.
"you have your father's smile," i implied.
"yeah." he chuckled. "this was taken two years ago, it was our family day. usually it's just my dad and i who go out fishing but my mom decided to tag along. that time was the happiest moment of my life." taehyung narrated.
i smiled at the back of my mind, he's really a family-oriented man.
he put the photo back in his wallet. "but it was also the worst." his tone dropped by finishing that sentence.
he sighed, and i knew that sigh is foreshadowing something drastic.
