ㅡ three; madison
as i walked down the hall to my next class, i noticed taehyung to my right bounding towards me. it has been two days since the incident happened and two days since taehyung kept bugging me. he convinced me not to kill myself and he said he's afraid that i might do something crazy again.
i continued walking with my books in my arms when i was suddenly thrown forward. i crumpled to the floor with my books strewn across the ground, a cry of pain escaping my lip.
taehyung entered my sight, asking me if i'm okay. i muttered a weak 'yes' and he stormed over to where a jock was gauffawing with his friends.
the jock coughed loudly with a smirk and started to walk away, but not before he could whisper loudly, "watch where you're walking next time, bitcㅡ"
taehyung looked really pissed. a wave of fury was crossing his face when he sprung up onto him, his right hand curling around the collar of his shirt and throwing him against the row lockers.
"fuck off, freak." taehyung had pinned him against the lockers. his hands on either side of the wall.
"pick them up." taehyung's face was contorted in anger, his lips tightened as he scolded the asshole.
i started picking up my books when taehyung stopped me. "maddy, stop." his voice was cold and chilling making me freeze.
it was the first time i saw him like this, usually he's always happy and bubbly but now all i can see is a taehyung with fury raging over him.
i shook my head. "taehyung, it's okay. and i'm going to be late to claㅡ"
"no, maddy." he stated, glaring at the jock intensely. "apologize."
"what? no way man, what theㅡ"
"and pick up her books."
taehyung let the guy go and shoved him towards my books. the jock squatted and gathering them all, handing them to me.
"freak," he mumbled and shoved the books in my chest.
him and his gang departed, leaving me and taehyung in the hallway. he held out a slender-fingered hand to me and i took it hesitantly, pulling myself up. "you didn't have to do that."
"yes i did, maddy. he purposely bumped into you. i saw it."
i chuckled. "believe me,"
"i've dealt with worse."
