Hello fellow people. Sorry for taking so long, in terms of updating. I was quite busy cuz it was End of Term Holiday and I didn't have time to update. Well, enjoy ... (:D)

I rub my eyes open. I see a ray of sunlight peeking at me through the blinds and then I sit up. My clock reads 6:50 am. I look over my right to see most of my room mates still asleep.

"Belle, are you awake?" I turn to my left to see my best friend, Leah, rubbing her eyes and yawning.

"Yeah, I'm awake." I look down to find my bracelet safely resting on my left wrist.

"Are you okay?"

"Huh?" I look up. "Oh, um, yeah. I'm fine."

She gave me the oh-really look. Nothing gets past her. "Really, what was it? Are you still having those flashback dreams." How did she know that?

I nodded. "When Rosanne," I paused. "Gave me the emerald bracelet."

"Oh." Leah looked down. "I thought so."

"How did you know?"

"Well I heard you mumbling in your sleep and I heard you saying something that sounded like '...never see you again' and '...Rosanne. I will.' So from that I figured it was something about your sister and past."

"Oh, okay." I am really wishing for a change in topic.

"Oh my god." She said as if she'd remembered something and had a hint of worry in her eyes. "You know what day it is today right?"

"Yep," I sigh. "I do."

"Do you think we're ready? Have we had enough training? Do you think we'll actually pass? What if we don't? ..." Leah trails on. I rest my head on my arm and stare into my mind.

Leah do you always have to worry so much? Like geez. Calm down for once. I mean we're best friends, sisters even. But sometimes you do go a little over the top. Wait a minute... Is someone calling me?

"Belle... Belle... BELLE!"

"Who? What? Huh? What's going on?" The imaginary thought bubble over my head pops. I sigh. "This always happens, doesn't it?"

"I guess it kinda does. Well, sorry if I rudely interrupted your daydreaming Miss Dawson." Leah rolls her eyes.

"Why thank you very much for apologising," I tilt my head slightly and narrow my eyes. "Miss Leighton."

"Miss Leighton." She repeated, clearly shocked. "I never thought of you to be a person of such polite manners."

"Well maybe it's because you don't think hard enough." I knew I had pushed the limit. Leah gasps with her mouth agape. She then picks up her pillow, aims and throws it at me. Fortunately, I have good reflexes so she just about missed me and it fell onto the floor.

"Oops." She says and bites her bottom lip. Before long we both start laughing. Times like this put my mind at ease. I suppose being with Leah since we were young helps – knowing she's there allows me to relax a little. After all, we live in a cruel and callous world. I think most people deserve a laugh once in a while.

"Who's making all that noise?" I turn to my right to find Cali crossing her arms and not smiling - as usual. "Oh, you two – I should've known. Well, just to let you know, some people are trying to get vital rest for today – not throwing pillows at each other like silly little children who have no common sense." She says, rolling her eyes and being bitter as usual. Oh, and note to self: try not to make Cali angry.

Leah and I just simply look at each other with looks of awkwardness but smiling. Inside, I knew that both of us were saying "Um, okay then". I assumed the others were starting to awake as sounds of murmurs and yawns arouse.

I think about what Cali had said. I guess I should be more serious. Today will be one of the most important days in our lives. All of what is to come will decide our insignias, our future. Above all, today is the day of Concension.
