I also just wanted to mention how cute Taylor looked when she was playing with the lights when they announced she won best meme-able moment at the iheart awards :p

Taylor woke first feeling content as she felt Karlie's hot breath against her neck. It was times like these that she wished she could bottle up her feelings to use at a later date when she felt sad.
Karlie's arm was still draped protectively around her waist and the girl's head was tucked in beneath her own. It was comfortable and it just felt right.
The moment was short lived as she heard steps getting louder; probably a doctor. It was then that it occurred to Taylor that she was Karlie's teacher and the doctors knew that. With this information she withdrew herself from Karlie now feeling how cold the room actually was. Karlie shifted slightly and blinked open her eyes just as the doctor walked in and Taylor sat down in the chair next to her bed.
The doctor looked between them momentarily before beginning to talk.
"How are you feeling today Karlie?", he said with a slight patronising tone in his voice.
Karlie sat up before replying that she was fine. The doctor informed them both he would go and retrieve Karlie's discharge forms and then they could leave before smiling at them both and exiting the room leaving the two girls alone.
Not a second after he had left Taylor leaned over to Karlie and connected their lips briefly and pulling away so their faces were just inches apart. Blue eyes meet green as Taylor opens her mouth to talk.
"Sorry, I couldn't wait", she smiles warmly at the girl she can now call her own, only for Karlie to mirror her expression. They stare at each other for what seems like a second when the doctor returns and Taylor quickly pulls away before he notices how close the two were.
Papers are signed as Taylor makes a quick call to Miss Hudson telling her that they would be back at school in roughly half an hour. Miss Hudson said that they should come straight to her office when they returned. The headmistress had returned to work specifically to talk to Karlie about the incident. Karlie gathers that her and Cara's actions won't go unpunished even if she did almost die.
As Taylor returned Karlie was finishing packing up all her stuff.
"Ok, I need to get changed Tay turn around", Karlie said matter-of-factly.
"Oh come on babe, I'm sure I will see a lot more in the future", Taylor said cheekily.
"You will, in the future, now stop being a teenage boy and turn around", Karlie said playfully, smiling at the pet name Taylor had just christened her with.
Taylor huffed dramatically and turned around wearing the biggest pout she could muster. Karlie responded only with a giggle and proceeded to change into fresh clothes. She wore sweatpants, a tank top and her favourite leather jacket. Karlie signalled that Taylor could turn back around and closed the distance between them.
As soon as Taylor's eyes meet Karlie's their lips connect in an innocent kiss that promised an eventful future.
"We have a Cab waiting outside. You ready?", Taylor asked still wearing the blush caused by the kiss.
The two walked out the hospital and into the waiting taxi. Taylor gave the driver the address of the school and he pulled away.
"Is Miss Hudson Mad at me?", Karlie asked shyly whilst looking down at her fidgeting fingers.
"I don't think so, worried more than anything", Taylor's voice soothed Karlie as her hand reached upwards to lift Karlie's chin to face her. Taylor then began softly stroking her cheek as she inched closer to Karlie in the back seat of the Cab. Karlie responded by flashing Taylor a weak smile and resting her head on Taylor's shoulder as Taylor continued her actions.
In that moment Karlie felt calm, contrasting her teacher's emotions who sat next to her. What if this is a mistake? This is wrong, I teach her. How can we keep this a secret? She graduates in a few months; we can be together freely then. But what if someone finds out. Do I have to tell my parents? They don't know about me liking girls.
As all of these thought rushed around in her head Karlie simply lifted hers to look at her girlfriend.
"Thank you for this and being you", Karlie then leaned in to give Taylor a short but sweet kiss.
Somehow that kiss promised Taylor that everything was going to be ok and that they would get through this. Somehow that kiss promised Taylor that this relationship would be worth fighting for and hiding for. Somehow that kiss answered all her thoughts and negated them with love.
"Karlie", Taylor began. "This is going to be hard; we are going to have to hide for a while before you graduate. The law doesn't look so great on student-teacher relationships. But I want you to know that you are worth it to me and to be honest the idea of you being my secret excites me. The idea of us being our little secret that no one knows and no one can judge us or give us their unwanted opinions and I want you to know that I think that is a beautiful thing. Baby, I know places we won't be found and they'll be chasing their tails trying to track us down but I know places we can hide", she said with slight comical effect on her last line. Karlie giggled, her eyes filled with love. She watched Taylor's expression change.
"Babe what's wrong", she asked looking at Taylor's blank expression.
"Where's my phone?", Taylor asked in a panicked voice before retrieving it from her back pocket. "Song idea", she said hurriedly before she continued in opening up her voice recording app and singing lyrics into her phone behind her hand. The lyrics are just too quiet for Karlie to make out as she looks on with a grin on her face chuckling softly at the cuteness of her girlfriend. Her girlfriend. Karlie seriously doubts she will ever get used to calling Taylor her girlfriend.
