Family Reunion - Part One

FOUR DAYS LATER...

Jaden knocks on Elena and Jenny's dorm door. He is greeted with a "Come in!" sound. Jaden turns the knob and enters the slifer dorm.

"This, was my dorm years ago." Jaden says.

"Really? That's cool." Jenny says.

"Yeah, It is." Jaden says.

"How much longer are you staying?" Elena asks.

"Not much longer. Your mother is waiting at home for me." Jaden says in response.

"Well, before you leave dad-" Jenny says.

Elena interrupts Jenny, "No Jenny. Dad needs to go home." Elena says.

"What is it Jenny?" Jaden asks.

" I was going to ask for a final duel, the three of us before you leave." Jenny replies.

"We can do that." Jaden says, "We can do that right now actually."

"Nice!" Jenny says.

Jaden and his two kids exit outside to in front of the dorm. They stand in a triangle set up and they turn on their duel disks.

Jaden: (4000 LP)

Jenny: You ready? (4000 LP)

Elena: Always. (4000 LP)

Jaden: Game on!

Elena: Here I go! (Draw) I summon Elemental Hero Avian! (Atk: 1000) I end with a facedown card.

Jaden: (Draw) I activate E-Emergency Call to add Elemental Hero Ocean to my hand. Now, I summon Elemental Hero Woodsman! (Def: 2000) I end with a set card.

Jenny: Im up! (Draw)

Yubel: Does it make you happy to see your kids follow your dreams Jaden?

Jaden: Yeah, I don't want them to go through what I had to, I want them to enjoy their time. That's why after this duel they'll be free here without me.

Yubel: Just because they are your daughters, don't go easy.

Jaden: Ill make them earn a victory.

Jenny: I summon Ice Prince in attack mode! (Atk: 1300) Then I activate the field spell, Cold Twilight. This amps up the power of all Water and Ice monsters. Now they cant be destroyed by one attack and when I attack with one my monsters strength is doubled.

Jaden: Hmm.

Jenny: Now Ice Prince will attack Hero Woodsman! With Cold Twilight his power doubles! (Atk: 2600)

Jaden: I activate my facedown, HERO SIGNAL. Now that you destroyed my Hero Woodsman I can summon a hero from the deck, I summon Elemental Hero Heat! (Atk: 1600)

Jenny: After my battle phase my monster's attack returns to normal. (Atk: 1300)

Elena: Great start!

Jenny: Lets keep it up sis!

Elena: Here we go! (Draw) I activate the spell Chemical Fusion! This allows me to sacrifice 500 points to summon a fusion monster from the Extra Deck. (3500 LP) I summon Elemental Hero Thunder Giant! (Atk: 2400)

Yubel: That's a move you'd make Jaden..

Elena: Alright Thunder Giant, Attack Hero Heat!

Jaden: Agh! (3200 LP)

Elena: I end.

Jaden: (Draw) Time to kick it up a notch. I summon Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird! (Atk: 800) Now Air Hummingbird allows me to suck up 500 points for every card in your hand, go Hummingbird!

Elena: Woah.

Jaden: (4700 LP)

Jenny: Didn't see that coming.

Jaden: Now I activate the spell Dimensional Grave. I can sacrifice a monster on my field to use a spell card in your graveyard. I think Ill choose Chemical Fusion.

Jenny: This aint good.

Jaden: (4200 LP) I tribute 500 points to summon a Fusion Monster. I summon Rainbow Neos! (Atk: 4500)

Elena: Rainbow Neos...

Jenny: Dad told us stories about this card.

Elena: It was a card to show his friendship with Jesse, uncle Jesse.

Jaden: Alright Neos, attack Jenny's Ice Prince!

Jenny: Agh! (800 LP)

Elena: Jenny!

Jenny: Im alright. I still got points.

Jaden: I end my turn.

Jenny: Time for some R&R.

Elena: Lets do our combo.

Jenny: I got you. (Draw)I summon Frost Chimera. (Atk: 2200)

Jaden: A level 6 monster?

Jenny: I can special summon this monster when I have less than 1000 LP. I end with a set card.

Elena: Here we go! (Draw) I activate Mystical Space Typhoon! To destroy Jenny's set card!

Jaden: But why?

Jenny: The card she destroyed was Chimera Calling. When that set card is destroyed I can sacrifice a Frost Chimera to summon a new fusion monster to replace him.

Jaden: Nice.

Jenny: Come forth, King Frostbite. (Atk: ?)

Jaden: That's not good, zero attack points..

Jenny: Not for long.

Jaden: Figured you'd say that.

Jenny: Ellie and I got plenty of surprises left, just you wait!

Elena: Lets go!
