"So do we just stay here?" Liam asked Dave and the older man just shrugged in reply. The guys watched the two girls who had walked out of the water and were sitting cross legged on their towels. When Sea Turtle had left the water with Raven everyone stared in surprised, not knowing the girl was capable of leaving the water for more than ten minutes.

Most of the guys were just staring, commenting on how lucky they were to have two hotties right in front of them. Liam had to stifle a growl and refrain from breaking the necks of the starers. He had to remind himself that Raven was not his and that she was very attractive, therefore she would receive attention from the opposite sex, and possibly the same sex and Liam had to deal with that.

"How long do you think this will take?" Liam asked, getting annoyed by all of the staring men, the air seemed to fill with more testosterone as time passed.

Dave shrugged, "I dunno how hard the girl will be to convince, but I think Raven has it covered."

Liam nodded and shuffled from foot to foot. He watched Raven and still couldn't believe she was in a bikini. She pushed some of the hair that had fallen from her ponytail back by running one hand through her hair and he bit his lip. The girl made him crazy without realizing it, from her athletic build, to her chocolate curls, and her light mocha skin, which actually caused the next question to roll from Liam's mouth.

"What ethnicity is Raven?" he blurted out and Dave gave him a confused look.

"Come again?" Dave asked.

"What ethnicity is she? I mean she's clearly not white, is she like mexican?" he asked.

Dave gave him a strange look then replied, "Well she's-" he stopped when he realized that he had no idea. "I'm not sure..."

The two spent the rest of their time discussing and trying to figure out the race of their friend.

On the other side of the beach, the two girls discussed more important matters.

"So you're a halfbreed?" Sea Turtle confirmed with Raven.

She nodded and replied, "Yup, and judging from your ability and knowledge of halfbreeds I take it you aren't the average surfer."

Sea Turtle nodded and smiled big, "You got that right."

Raven grinned, "I knew I was right. So you're a halfbreed as well."

"Yeah," Sea Turtle replied, "I'm half dragon."

"So you've been hiding out in this town then?" Raven asked and Sea Turtle gave her a strange look.

"Hiding? Why would I hide? I just came here because the waves were great!"

Raven frowned, "Wait, so you weren't here hiding from the Slayers?"

"Slayers?" Sea Turtle asked, looking more and more confused.

Raven furrowed her eyebrows, "Hold up. You're a halfbreed, yet have no idea who the Slayers are?"

"Should I?" she asked, beginning to look concerned.

"Well yeah! They're dragon Slayers! They hunt our kind and skin us alive and won't rest until we're extinct!" Raven exclaimed, throwing her arms up a bit dramatically.

Sea Turtle's eyes widened, "Oh man...that sucks."

Raven nodded, "It's terrible. But that's not it, you know about the dragons right?"

Sea Turtle nodded, "Of course, they're giant reptilian dudes... kinda like dinosaurs...but they breathe fire! I mean I've never seen one, but it's kind of a rad concept you know?" She smiled excitedly.
