The next morning was like all of the others: boring and drawn out until one of us had to do something. Today Ozzy told me he was going to go jam with the guys down at the studio again, and I only nodded. I had more things to do today. Yes, I was going to run errands like a normal girl. Or so Ozzy said. But he had a few tricks up his sleeve; he wasn't just going to the studio today. He said he had to run a special errand, and when I asked what it was, he wouldn't tell me. "It's a secret," He said. "But you'll find out soon enough." As he stood up and grabbed his jacket, Ozzy made his way out to his car. "I'll see you later today. And I promise the rest of our relationship won't be just me running to the recording studio every morning. I'll see you, babe," Driving away in his red mustang, he left me at the house.

"Damn it, I hope she isn't mad. I can't go through it when girls are mad. I hope she isn't mad about me leaving again like this," Ozzy whispered to himself as he calmly kept his hands on the steering wheel, driving to the studio. "I should probably swing by a jewelry store first though. I need to, before I forget. Maybe if I go now, I won't get home late," Thinking quickly, he drove into the parking lot of the closest Beckers Jewelry Store. The bell over the door jingled as he walked in. A fatter man with gray hair, rimless glasses, a fluffy beard, and a dapper suit smiled as Ozzy walked into his store.
"Ah, a customer! What can I help you with, sir? Anything you need today?" The man asked, sounding very cheerful. He had a beat - up nametag that read Mark just over his heart.
Ozzy sighed a little, walking up to the counter Mark was at. "Yeah, well... I've been with my girlfriend for a while now, and I've... thought about... proposing to her. And, well, I need to buy her a ring,"
"Oh! You've come to the right place! What kind of ring do you want? Something big? Something small? Shiny? Matte? Expensive? Cheap?"
"Shiny, not too big, and the most real diamond you have. I've got the cash,"
Mark smiled, then arched an eyebrow as he stared at Ozzy a bit more. "Have I seen your face somewhere? You look familiar,"
Ozzy smirked, whispering. "Between you and me, I'm a famous singer. Black Sabbath. I'm the frontman. I mean, if you can't tell."
"Ozzy...?" Mark asked, then looked down at Ozzy's hand. "Oh, wow. It is you. Man, just because of who you are, I'll give you anything you want at a lower price. Like, a discount. You okay with that? Your girlfriend'll be okay with that, women love getting discounts," He chuckled, taking a few rings out of the case. "Here's a few really pretty ones that matched your description."
As Ozzy scanned through them, he found himself not able to stop looking at the middle ring which had an almost rainbow shine to it, with a gold band. It was a real diamond as well. "How much is that middle one right there?"
"Five thousand. It's originally five hundred dollars more, but there's a special discount just because of who you are," He whispered, glancing around to see if any of his coworkers were looking or listening. "So, sound like a deal?"
Ozzy nodded quickly, writing a check and handing it to his new friend. After Mark had put the ring into a pretty black box to make it presentable, Ozzy snatched it up and placed it into his pocket, a good place to keep it since he always wore that jacket.
"Good luck with that. I know she'll say yes," Mark smiled as Ozzy left the shop. His next stop was the studio to tell the band he was going to propose to his girlfriend and become a married man.

"Guys, guys! I have big news!" Ozzy announced, making his way through the large glass doors of the fifth floor studio that his band was in. Geezer and Tony turned to him immediately, with Jeremy turning a few seconds later.
"What happened?" Geezer asked.
"Is it bad?" Tony questioned. He sounded scared.
"No, no. It isn't bad. Nothing bad happened," Ozzy reassured them, smiling to himself. As he sat down in a chair, his band mates paraded him.
"Well, what is it?" Tony asked. "Tell us!"
"I went to the jewelry store today and bought a ring... and I'm going to ask Marie to marry me."
Geezer and Tony both smiled. "Aww," They chimed in unison. "Look who's growing up!"
"Shut up. I may be getting married to her, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to still act like a fucking idiot. That's kind of my job," Ozzy said, smirking. "Don't worry,"
"So are you gonna give her your last name?" Tony asked.
"I want to if she accepts,"
"Yeah. She'd make a good Mrs. Osbourne," Geezer said, smiling. "I hope she says yes. Like, I'm really happy that you're taking it to the next step and you're going to have an amazing life together. I feel good for you, man. I do,"
"Yeah. So do I. You two are a great couple. I can't wait until the wedding," Tony added with a grin. He was always a fun guy, so he was probably going to help out with the wedding plans. That was, if there was going to be a wedding.
