Hidden Forest lake
Early morning

Yui held Miku close as she watched the lake ripple and the trees sway. "Its so beautiful here." Said Yui. She let go of Miku, and crawled to the edge of the lake. She gazed at her watery reflection, while making ripples with her finger. Yui was a fairly attractive girl, with dark brown hair, and light sky blue eyes. She had always been told that she was cute, but she just didn't see it in her. "Sometimes... I wish I could be different." Sighed Yui, flopping on her back. She looked up at the blue sky, dotted with white puffy clouds. She could hear the birds chirping, the wind quietly howling, and the water splashing against itself. Yui began to slowly close her eyes, while feeling Miku curled up against her neck. Yui felt that it had only been a few minutes that she had closed her eyes, but when she opened them... It was already the afternoon. She lay there, feeling nice and comfortable in the warm sun. Miku was no longer by her neck. Yui decided to get up to find her, but instead found herself inside the middle of the lake. Yui's eyes opened fully, and she froze her body, only moving her head. Miku sat by the edge of the water crying out to her. Yui's body was surrounded by lillipads and flowers, trapping her in the lake. "What am I going to do?" Yui thought. "More importantly, how did I get here?" She started swimming towards Miku, getting tangled in the plants as she did so. Just as she started swimming though, she felt something fall off of her stomach. Startled, Yui jumped up. She looked into the water, and saw a book. "When did this get here?" She asked herself. She picked up the book, and held it up above the water as she swam back to the shore. Once she had finally arrived, she sat down by a tree near the edge of the lake. Miku rubbed against Yui, soon becoming soaked as well. Yui put the book in the sun, attempting to dry it off. "Why and how did this get on my stomach... And how was I just in the lake?" Yui asked aloud. She waited a while for the book to dry, questioning it's existence, and what it had inside of it. The cover had many twisted branches, and in the back ground there was a dark colored castle, that looked like it could be centuries old. After a while, Yui opened the book to the middle page, and started to read aloud the water damaged words:

"May xx xxxx: She got a new kitten named xxxx. She was so happy, to xxx it xxxx xxe hxxged her xxxxdpa so tighxxx, xe xxxxxx xxxxxed xxxxxxxng."

Somee of the words were to destroyed to read ("x" means Yui couldn't read it). "Hmmm... That's kinda strange..." Murmured Yui. She flipped towards the beginning of the book:

"She stood by hex moxxxx'x cofxxx, xxx looxxx xt xxx sax, dexx face. 'Mother... Plexxx dox'x leaxx mx...'She crxxx, as hex grandpa toxx xxx awax frxx hxx dexx xxther axx faxxxx."

Yui, tried so desperately to read the unidentifiable words, because she felt like she already knew what they said. Her eyes started to water, and tears began to drop on the wet pages. "Miku... I feel like I've seen this before..." Whispered Yui. She wiped her eyes with her wet sleeve. "Come on Miku, grandpa's probably wondering where we are... Let's go." Yui got up, picked up the book and soaked Miku, and started off towards home.
