Chapter 4

Chaz had gotten back and he was playing Black Ops with Justin.

"Oh I owned you!" Chaz said happily. I scoffed and Chaz looked at me."What?" He asked.

"Nothing its just you suck." I smiled.

"Oh you wanna go against me?" He asked.

"Pssh hand me a controller." I said. Justin handed me his and I sat by Chaz and at the end of the game I won. "Boo ya! in your face!" I said and giggled then stood up and high fived Justin. Chaz rolled his eyes.

"Whatever." He said then his phone went off and he started to text."Hey JB you mind if my girlfriend comes over?" Chaz asked.

"Sure." Justin said. I turned and walked out the basement and sat at the kitchen table and waited for Lynn to get back. She had to go to a family barbecue. I sighed and drummed my fingers on the table.

"Honey what's wrong?" My grandma asked as she sat next to me.

"Love stinks grandma." I said.

"Aww who stole your heart?" She asked.

"Chaz." I said softly.

"Aww sweetie there will be plenty of guys." She said and hugged me. "But for now how about you help me make cookies?" She asked. I smiled and nodded and we got up and started to make cookies. As I was about to put the cookie tray in the oven someone wrapped their arms around my waist and I jumped and dropped the cookie tray and turned to see Chaz laughing. I hit his arm playfully.

"Not funny dude." I said.

"Haha it was for me." He grinned and I rolled my eyes and bent down to pick up the gooey cookie dough. Chaz bent down and helped me. We finished and threw away the cookie dough and washed our hands in the sink. Then Chaz splashed me and I splashed him back. Then we started to have a water war.

"Chazzy stop!" I giggled as he sprayed me with the sink hose. Then I heard an annoying screech and I turned to see a petite blonde with green eyes who looked a little mad.

"Chazzy! What are you doing?" She screeched. Chazzy? Oh nu uh! I only call him Chazzy! I gave him that nickname in Pre-K.

"Oh I was just hanging with my best friend Skylar. Sky this is Rachel my girlfriend." Chaz said.

"Hi." I said managing to use a fake sweet voice. She rolled her eyes.

"Hi." She said then I walked past her and went up to my room and changed my clothes. I heard giggling coming from Justin's room so I walked in and saw Justin tickling Lynn. I smiled and went back downstairs and saw Chaz and Rachel making out. I bit my lip and held back the tears. I walked past them and grabbed a towel from the hallway closet and then went to the kitchen and dried the floor. I heard my grandma lecturing Chaz and Rachel and I smiled to myself. I went down to the basement and Chaz came in with Rachel.

"I'll be back." Chaz said and he jogged upstairs. I turned off the XBOX 360 and then turned on the DVD player.

"Stay away from Chaz." Rachel said. I turned and looked at her.

"What did you say?" I asked.

"You heard me. Stay away from Chaz. He's mine!" She said.

"So? He's my best friend so no I'm not staying away." I said.

"Bitch stay away from my Chaz." She said then slapped me. Oh no that's it. I slapped her back and then punched her in her face.

"Listen to me. Your in my house right now so if your gonna say sh!t like that then get the hell out." I said. Then turned and then she jumped on my back and made me fall. I glared at her and rolled over so I pinned her down. Then I punched her in the face repeatedly until Lynn and Justin pulled me off her. Chaz held Rachel back.

"What is going on?!" Chaz asked.

"Ask the witch!" I said then got out of Lynn and Justin's grip and ran out the basement and out the house. I got to the park and finally stopped running. I sat on a bench and just sat there. Lynn soon came and sat next to me.

"You beat the crap out of her."Lynn said and I smiled.

"Good that's what she gets for slapping me and telling me to stay away from Chaz." I said.

"What? She said that?" Lynn asked.

"Yep so I told her heck no." I smiled and Lynn hugged me.

"Haha well then you got her good." We laughed. Soon we went back to my house and I saw Chaz and Justin talking when they saw us they stopped.

"Sky why did you beat up Rachel?" Justin asked.

"Cause she told me to stay away from by best friend. Then when I refused she slapped me and you know I won't take anyone's crap Justin." I said.

"That's not what she said." Chaz said.

"And what did she say Chaz?" I asked irritably.

"She said you attacked her." Chaz said.

"And you believe her?" I asked and Chaz didn't say anything. "Fine believe her over your best friend. I can't believe you Chaz! I've known you since Pre-K and you go and believe this girl over me when you've only known her for what? 3 months?" I walked out the dining room and went up to my room.

Lynn's P.O.V

"Chaz I can't believe you! You hurt Skylar! Badly! Your messed up! your supposed to be her best friend but instead you go and backstab her." I ran up to Skylar's room after her and I saw her sitting on her bed crying. I walked over to her and hugged her. "Oh Sky don't cry it'll be ok." I said as I hugged her.

Justin's P.O.V

"Wow Chaz you managed to hurt my sister and tick off Lynn. Congrats." I said and got up from my chair and started to walk upstairs. "You know their both right too. You've known Sky long enough to know she wouldn't attack someone unless she had a good reason to." Then I walked upstairs and went into Skylar's room and saw Lynn hugging Skylar who was crying.

"It hurts Lynn to know that he doesn't believe me." Sky said.

"I know Sky I know." Lynn said.

"And what's worse is I was starting to fall in love with him." Sky whispered and then cried more.

Skylar's P.O.V

I slowly stopped crying and then I noticed Justin in the doorway.

"D-did you just h-hear what I said?" I asked him. He nodded and came and sat on the other side of me and hugged me.

"Sky look your gonna go through many heartbreaks but you gotta remember love is a process it takes time." Justin said.

"I know Justin I know." I said. He hugged me tightly then got up and walked out. Then Chaz came in.

"I'll leave you two alone." Lynn said then got up and walked out leaving me alone with Chaz.
