Chapter Seven

The next morning, I woke up with a massive headache. Lynn stood over me, pain killers and a glass of water in hand. She gave me a smile, and I sat up.

"Thanks." I said. She sat next to me as I took the things away from her.

"You had like..a huge sugar rush last night." Lynn said, laughing.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yea." she said. "No more candy for a month," I frowned.

"Halloween's coming up though." I whinned. Lynn groaned.

"Fine." she said, giving in. "But no more until your next birthday!"

"Or yours." I said. "Or Justin's. Or Chaz's."

Lynn giggled. "Whatever."

"Speaking of Justin and Chaz." I said, looking around. "Where are they?"

"Cleaning up the basement." Lynn said, smiling. "I was helping, but got bored so I waited for you to wake up."

I laughed. "Cleaning isn't suppoed to entertain you."

"It should!" Lynn said, standing. "We have a freakin popstar in there. Where's the entertainment?"

I laughed. "He left it on the tour bus."

"Then lets go get it back! Where is this tour bus you speak of?"

I laughed. "No where near here." Lynn sat down, pouting.

"Darn." she said. I laughed, and pushed her shoulder over.

"Come along." I said, standing." Let's go help the boring superstar, and his ordinary friend." Lynn laughed, and stood up. We walked down the hall and to the basement. When we got down there, it was already cleaned up. The boys were playing X-Box.

"Where have you been?" Justin asked as he looked over to see Lynn and I walk over. Lynn took a seat on the couch we had in the room, and pulled a pillow into her lap.

"I went to get Sky." she said.

"You said you were going to go get more trash bags!" Chaz yelled. "I wanted to get Sky."

"Cry me a river." Lynn spat playfully. Chaz's mouth hung open, and Justin and I busted out laughing.

"Maybe I will!" Chaz yelled. "And I hope you drown in it, you witch!" Lynn threw the pillow at Chaz's head, and it caused him to miss his shot on the game they were playing.

"Lynn!" Chaz yelled. "You could have gotten me killed!"

"You just died, dude." Justin pointed out. Chaz shot Lynn a glare, and she smiled.

"Don't talk back to me." she said, shrugging. "Or you'll die."

Chaz rolled his eyes, and looked back at the screen. I walked over next to him, and took a seat on the ground. Justin slapped Chaz's shoulder.

"What?" he asked.

"Give Sky the bean bag, and go get a chair." he said. "Be a man."

I laughed and Chaz scooted over to the floor. "Now my butt's frozen." Chaz mumbled. I laughed again.

"Justin said be a man, not a baby." I said.

"Good grief!" Chaz said. "Why is everyone onto me today? I made up with Sky!"

I laughed. "We love you." I said, wrapping my arms around his neck, and pulling him into me.

Lynn walked over, and did the same, and we giggled.

"Stop!" Chaz yelled. His player died again, and Chaz groaned. "I'd rather you guys throw insults at me, than give me love."

"Either way you'd die." Justin said, pausing the game and wrapping his arms around Chaz also, giggling like a girl.

"Woah." Chaz said suddenly. "I don't roll that way, Justin." He got out of our group hug, hands in the air.

"You hurt my feelings." Justin said, fake crying.

"Good." Chaz said. "That should send you a message I don't roll that way." Justin put his head in his hands.

"Aww." Lynn said. "I still love you Justin."

"Thank you Lynn!" Justin yelled as he pulled her into a hug.

"Even if you have a secret bromance with Chaz." she added. Justin pushed her away, and laughed.

"Ya'll suck." he said, turning off the game. "Who wants to go for a walk?"

"Me!" I yelled, standing. Lynn stood up too, and smiled.

"Leggo!" Justin yelled, leading the way out of the basement, and out into the streets.

As we walked, we continued to have our regular conversations. Throwing playful insults at each other, eventually causing everyone to bust out into laughter. Chaz snaked his arm around my waist, and I smiled at him.

"Get you some, Sky." Lynn whispered in my ear. I gave her a look, and smacked her shoulder. She busted out laughing, and Chaz gave me a weird look.

"You don't want to know." I said, laughing. "It's nasty."

"I wanna know!" Justin yelled. "Tell me." Lynn whispered in Justin's ear what she said in mine. He looked over at Chaz, his eyes wide.

"Woah der." Justin said. "When did this action happen?"

My face burned with embarrassment, and I could see Chaz's face burn bright red. His arm dropped from behind my waist, and I gave Lynn a sad look.

"Yo, JB." Lynn said suddenly. "Bet I can beat you to the corner."

"Bet you can't!" Justin yelled. "I've got skills, shawty. You can't see me when I run, bra."

"We'll see." Lynn said, laughing. She gave me a wink as her and Justin stopped behind a crack in the sidewalk.

"Ready?" Lynn asked.

"Set." Justin said, smiling.

"Go!" I yelled, and they ran off. As they ran, Justin was getting close to Lynn. She stumbled off to the side, making sure there were enough room between the two. Justin's jacket flew off his shoulders, and onto the sidewalk.

They turned a corner, and I lost sight of them. As we passed by the jacket on the sidewalk, I picked it up, and slung it over my shoulder. 

"Finally." Chaz said, placing his arm around my waist again. "I can do this without questions."

I giggled. "Your cute when you blush though." I said, laughing.

Chaz rolled his eyes. "Okay."

I smiled, and turned the corner and saw Justin and Lynn on the grass, starring at the sky.

"What happened?" I yelled. Chaz removed his arm as Justin looked over at us. I took his hand in mine, and he smiled.

"I won." Lynn said, her head snapping up.

"It was a very close tie." Justin said, rolling his eyes.

"I won, you just can't admit it!" Lynn said, smacking his shoulder. I threw Justin's jacket onto his face, and Lynn took it.

"I'm cold." she said, pulling her arms through the sleeves. "It smells good."

"Thanks." Justin said, smiling.

"This your perfume?" she asked, laughing.

"No." he said. "I don't wear perfume!"

"Oh, you just sell it, right?"

Justin gave her a look. She stood to her feet, and Justin grabbed for her feet. She jumped back, and ran down the sidewalk. Justin chased after her.

"He's such a flirt." Chaz said, laughing.

"Got that right," I said as we followed Justin and Lynn.
