Chapter Nine

Lynn

I sighed as Justin and I sat in the living room, watching re-runs of Spongebob that were on earlier today.

"What do you want to do?" Justin asked as a commercial appeared on the screen. I looked over at him, an evil grin spreading across my face.

"Wanna go spy in Chaz and Sky?"

Justin shot me the similar grin, and stood to his feet.

"I love you evil mind, Lynn Carter." he said, taking my hand in his.

"As do I, Justin Bieber." I said, and we walked out of the house, and down towards where Chaz and Skylar would be.

At the movies. It's were every first daters go.

"Wait." Justin said suddenly. "We don't know what movie they are seeing."

"I do." I said. "Sky told me as she got ready."

"Oh." Justin said, and we walked up the ticket box.

"Two tickets to see Breaking Dawn." I said. The lady handed me the tickets, and I gave her the money. She shot Justin a look, and gave me my change.

"A real man should be paying for your ticket, sweet pea." she said as we passed. I busted out laughing as Justin's cheeks turned pink.

"Shut up." he siad, taking one ticket out of my hand. I calmed my laughter down as we entered the correct theater, and took our seats.

"I don't see Chaz or Skylar." Justin said, looking around.

"I know." I said, taking a sip of the coke Justin and I bought. "I wanted to go see this movie, and I knew you wouldn't go unless I said something like spying on Chaz and Sky." I gave him a smile.

"You and your sick, twisted mind." justin said, but smiled. "High five." I gave him a high five, and the lights dimmed.

Skylar

"Okay." I said as I slipped on my ice skates. "I don't know how to ice skate."

"It's not hard." Chaz said, taking my hand. "It's like walking."

"Says the hockey jock." I muttered, and he moved forward, tugging me along with him. My skates hit the ice, and I gripped Chaz's hand tightly.

"Ease up, Sky." Chaz said. "Lets go home with no broken bones."

"No promises." I said. "I'm a clutz."

"I meant on me." Chaz said. "Your about to break my hand."

"Oh!" I said, eyes wide. I released my grip on his hand, and he sighed.

"Thanks." he said, and intertwined our fingers. "Now look at that."

"At what?" I asked.

"Your in the middle of the ice rink, and you haven't fallen once." I looked down at my feet, and noticed that we were moving.

"This is so cool!" I yelled, a big smile spread across my face.

"See?" Chaz said. "I knew you'd like this." I looked at him and he skated next to me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

"This is nice." I said. "No interuptions."

"No Justin and Lynn."

"The interuptions." I said, laughing.

"Wonder what their doing." Chaz said.

"Lynn's dragging Justin to go see a movie with her." I said. "She told me while we were getting ready."

"Really?" Chaz said, and chuckled.

"Yup." I said, and smiled. I looked down at my feet, and saw that I wasn't that much of a clutz. I looked up, and in less than a split second, my right leg slipped out from under me, and I fell forward onto the cold, hard ice. Chaz fell with me, and fell ontop me.

I groaned as Chaz quickly got off me, and helped me regain my balance.

"I guess I'm still a clutz." I said, laughing.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Yea." I said, smiling. "That wasn't that bad." He nodded, and took my hand in his again as we continued our skate around the rink.

After the date, we loaded into Chaz's car, and drove back to Justin's house. Justin and Lynn must have still been out, cause when we walked in, it was empty and dark. 

"I'll get you some ice for your leg." Chaz said as I walked to the couch, and propped my leg up on the dinning room table.

Chaz applied a bag of frozen peas against my bruised knee, and I sighed at the feeling of the cool peas against my knee.

"That feels good." I said, looking over at Chaz. He smiled at me, and I smiled back. "But one thing though."

"What?" he asked.

"Next date." I said. "I'm bringing shin guards."
