Chapter 7

Pagan: "Holly... please, say something..."

My thoughts were all over the place and I couldn't think straight. Words just couldn't come out of my mouth, I was just shell shocked.

Me: "........I just.... I don't know what to say...."

Pagan: "Well how about 'I like you too' that would be nice."

Me: "......"

Pagan: "Are you uncertain of your feelings for me?"

Honestly.... I'm not uncertain at all. I've just been denying my feelings for Pagan. I really do like him a lot, he makes me feel safe when I'm around him. Like nothing can hurt me. He's made me feel things I've never felt for anyone else. But..... he is a dictator and I don't know if I can love a dictator. I mean, he kills people and doesn't feel bad about it. He's a sociopath. I just am confused about Pagan....

Me: "Well.... I do like you. But you're a tyrant, and a narcissistic sociopath. I'm not sure if I can love you...."

Pagan just sighed. But then he leaned in and kissed me.

I kissed him back, I didn't pull away. I actually pulled him closer to me. I ran my fingers through his platinum blonde hair.

We just stood there kissing for a solid 3 minutes. And he didn't even try anything more then just touching me. Such a gentlemen...

Eventually he pulled away and stared into my green eyes for a minute.

Pagan: "Sorry..."

Why is he apologizing? That was amazing, I just want more of him now.

Me: "Don't apologize Pagan. I'm happy you kissed me. But I'm just confused t why you did it."

Pagan: "Well I knew that if I didn't make a move you might've left or just been a little mad at me...."

He's actually right. If he wouldn't have kissed me then I would've left the palace just to go contemplate.

Pagan: "Holly?"

Me: "Yes Pagan?"

Pagan: "....Will you be mine...?"

Woah woah woah woah woah...... we just kissed once and he thinks that I want to be his lover already? But I don't know him that well. He's just going to fast... but I can't say not, but I also can't say yes.

Me: *sighs* Pagan.... I do want to be with you but-"

I got interrupted by Pagan kissing me again.

We kissed for about 15 seconds...

Pagan: "So?"

Me: "Fine! You win."

I just gave up. I can't resist his amazing charm, and his nice eyes, and his beautiful pure smile.

Pagan: "You won't be disappointed by me. I promise, darling."

Me: "You better be right~"

He kissed my forehead and released me from his gentle grip.

Pagan: "Go clear your head, dear. I have to get to work."

Me: "But... last time I went to go 'clear my head' I nearly got raped..."

Pagan: "Then just go lye down in room and rest up and just relax. Don't go outside.

Me: "Okay. When do you get off work?"

Pagan: "I only have to work for five hours. I think you can hold out." He chuckled

Me: "Okay okay. Have fun." I said kissing his cheek and walking to my room.

I shut my door and I heard my phone ring in my pocket.

*ring*

*ring*

*ring*

Me: "Hello? Holly Snow speaking."

Ajay: "Holly... it's Ajay."

What the fuck does he want? And why does he keep trying to contact me? He's really annoying me now...

Me: "What now? I told you, Pagan hasn't hurt me and don't even try to come rescue me. I'm fine!"

Ajay: "I'm telling you Holly. Pagan just can't be trusted. He's an asshole who doesn't care about anyone but himself. He's not the man for you!"

I know that she's got something going on with Pagan. It's no secret.

Holly: "WHAT? For the last time there's nothing going on between me and Pagan! And why do care if there is?!?!"

Me: "I-I just... don't want you to end up with someone like that. You deserve better."

She needs me. I would be so good to her.

Holly: "Ajay, I don't like you! Please stop having feelings for me! Pagan isn't going to do anything to me! Now just fuck off!"

She hung up the phone and just left me with a tear in my eye.

I don't have to know her to like her. I love her..........
