Hero (Pagan Min fanfiction)

Chapter 3

I saw Pagan's number on a desk with a note, and it read, *Here is my phone # if you ever get into any trouble or just need me for something, phone number: 3852972* I put the note in my pocket and looked around the room a little bit. It was a salmon painted room, and there was a king sized bed against the left side of the room. So I laid on the bed and decided to just rest my eyes for a bit, but then I heard my phone go off...

*Bzzz*

*Bzzz*

After two buzzes I finally answered it.

Me: "Hello?"

Ajay: "Hi, is this Holly Snow?"

Me: "Uhm yeah... who's asking?"

Ajay: "Ajay Ghale..."

~Who the hell is-- Wait! Wasn't he on the bus with me, the one with the ashes of his mother~

Me: "Hmm... the guy with black hair and the ashes of a loved one?"

Ajay: "Yep, that's me!"

Me: "What do want?"

Ajay: "I'm gonna come to rescue you, since you're still there with Pagan."

Me: "WAIT! Pagan hasn't actually done anything to me, not yet at least..."

I didn't want to get rescued from Pagan, since I don't actually need rescuing or anything. And why the hell has Ajay just decided to come to help me? Does he like me or something?

Ajay: "How the hell could you say that? He stabbed a man to death with a pen! And then stabbed another man with a fork! Have you lost your mind Holly? How do you know that Pagan won't do anything to you hmm? I don't trust him for a second, so I'm coming to get you, stay there!"

Me: "AJAY NO! I don't want to be rescued! Can't you understand that??? Pagan hasn't done shit to me and I don't think he will. He just tends to get angry sometimes..."

Ajay: "Oh so now you're protecting him!? Is there something going on between you and Pagan?"

Me: "WHAT???? NO!!! I don't like Pagan OK!" ~I will not accept that I like Pagan! I don't like him and I never will!!!~

Just as I said that to Ajay, Pagan walked in....

Pagan: "Holly? What's going on in here?" I immediately hung up the phone in panic.

Me: "Nothing! I'm just... checking my phone, that's all..."

Pagan: "Hmm... are you sure? Because if I'm correct, I thought I heard you say 'I don't like Pagan.' Holly... who were you talking to?"

Me: "No one, and I didn't say 'I don't like Pagan', I said... 'Where is Pagan'"

Pagan: "Dear, just tell me. What happened and who were you talking to? I won't get mad, I promise."

Me: "Well... I was talking to Ajay. And he told me that he's coming to rescue me and I said no and then he accused me of liking you...."

Pagan raised a brow.

Pagan: "I'm not Ajay, so go ahead and tell me... do you like me?"

~Shit shit shit! I can't tell him I do and I can't tell him I don't... what the hell am I supposed to say?!?!?~

Me: "..... I don't know Pagan."
